I can’t even begin to describe how much I enjoyed working with Amelia. She went above and beyond from the second we started working together - even planning multiple makeup trials to ensure that I was confident about the look that I wanted. She is so extremely detailed and knowledgeable with makeup, and is so good at knowing which shades or tones look best on different types of skin tones/types and facial features.

On the day of the wedding, she arrived early and ready to go with all of her equipment. She was extremely efficient with completing all of our makeup on time, even finishing early. She helped calm down my nerves during such a crazy, intense day.

Throughout the wedding day, I received so many compliments from guests regarding my makeup - I have never gotten so many compliments on my skin or makeup in my entire life. I had people tell me how my skin looked like glass and that they couldn’t believe how beautiful I looked. My bridesmaids all obsessed over their makeup, even making comments that they liked this makeup better than the makeup they wore on their own wedding day! Both moms looked absolutely beautiful as well and loved their looks so much. Amelia gifted us lip touch ups and a touch up kit for myself to reapply throughout the wedding day.

Amelias makeup products are very high quality, they make your skin look extremely glowy and leave such a natural look, I even had people mention they couldn’t believe how real my fake lashes looked! I didn’t break out from any of her products either - they don’t feel heavy on your skin and everything stays in place despite crying and sweating.

If I could give Amelia 10 stars I would. I hired her to do my bridal makeup along with 7 others for my wedding day. She is exactly the kind of person you want around on the morning of your wedding. She is nothing but good vibes, and is so easy to chat with. I did a trial at her home where she listened, and walked me through each step as she did it. As someone who rarely wears makeup I was unsure how I would feel but- I felt absolutely beautiful! I felt like myself just elevated. The makeup was light on my skin and felt very comfortable with all day wear. After the trial I gave feedback that she made changes on for my wedding day. On my special day she made those changes and even through tears, sweat, and dancing the night away it stayed looking amazing. Her touch up kit is a lifesaver for small things like re-applying gloss as well. Another thing that I would mention is her sanitation protocols. She uses different brushes, a clean tagaderm on her hand for every person, and single use wands and lip gloss sticks to apply the makeup with. As a germaphobe this was so important to me! My wedding party was done so efficiently and everyone looked absolutely amazing. My party had different skin tones and also contained members with mature skin-she did a fabulous job with all of them. Amelia from Soft Glow Makeup is so so fun and easy to work with. From the beginning consultation to the day of jitters, she truly put me as the bride at ease. When I was feeling a bit dehydrated and anxious the morning of, she asked my bridal party to bring me electrolytes in the chair. Exactly what I needed without me having to ask.

Her talent is unmatched - I was glowing & my makeup look lasted all night! Even through a very humid outdoor dance floor situation, and then an active karaoke session.
