Edit: The doctor did not discuss a plan with me, they sent me away with antibiotics. A treatment that had already been tried four times previously. I wanted to schedule a time for surgery in August, but again, they sent me home with antibiotics.
Sure, you offered a date in November, on the 27th, after I had to come back in October because YOUR treatment plan failed. So lets not act all high and mighty here doctor, or is this one of your low-quality receptionists, who doesn't understand that only ONE owner was out of the country and not both, responding? Surgery could have been scheduled and SHOULD have been scheduled in August when I came in the first time.
I was an advocate for my cat, who turned out to have tooth resorptions. Thankfully I found a vet who listened, and took my cats teeth out, like he needed. I am glad I was able to advocate for my cat to get him the help he needed at another clinic. I had to come to this clinic as my previous vet does not offer the dental procedures I was looking for.
I came to this clinic in August as they were one of the only clinics accepting new patients with the ability to do dental work. The first time I came to this clinic I told them very specifically what I needed, tooth extractions, and that previously antibiotics hadn't worked.
They admitted to missing the email my previous clinic had sent them that morning, so they sent me home with more antibiotics, because they wanted to pursue this "aggressive" treatment plan, which I questioned. Not to my surprise it didn't work.
So I take him in again, the fourth Friday in October, because my cat isn't eating again and yelps in pain, and they are unable to see me until December third to get this problem taken care of. The secretary even had the nerve to ask three times why we didn't schedule this in August.
I found this very confusing as this is exactly what I had asked for in August when this clinic sent me home with my cats fourth? fifth? round of antibiotics.
I don't think this staff knows how to communicate very clearly, and some of their support staff could work on their customer service skills. Dissappointed that this clinic gave me the run around, and I wasted money that could have been put forth to the very expensive procedure my cat...
Read moreI just want to say the staff at NCAC showed me such kindness today when I had to put my cat sassy to sleep and thank you all for not making me feel judged for making such a hard choice. She had been Ill few weeks but I couldn't bare to see her continue to suffer any longer. The staff were amazing, I wasn't rushed, I didn't feel like just another person rolling through, or just another dollar sign that could be flipped out the door. Everyone spoke gently to both me and sassy and remained professional throughout the whole experience, I was allowed to have a friend come in for moral support. Instead of fear my girl seemed to feel safer in her last moments which i wanted for her and for me... I feel bad because I Don't remember the name of who it was that saw me and sassy today but I want to thank her for the kindest she showed in such a heartbreaking moment it truly helped through the whole ordeal and validated why I will continue to use NCAC for as long as I live in New Carlisle I've been here.previously with my son's dog for shots and received the same amazing care, treatment and kindness with both...
Read moreI took my dog to this vet to get his nails clipped. My dog has extreme panic attacks when getting his nails clipped. I left specific instructions to sedate him prior to getting his nails trimmed. I told EVERY person at this clinic that I spoke with about this. When I dropped him off, the last thing I told them was that my dog is a very good boy, but please don't try to trim his nails without sedation. They said OK. When I returned to pick him up, they informed me that they went ahead and just tied hi down to the table, without sedating him, and proceeded to cut 2 of his nails past the quick while he struggled. When I called the vet to complain that my dogs nails were bleeding, I was told by the vet that did the work that I could seek service elsewhere if I had a problem. Completely unprofessional and will never use them again.
Edit: The response below is a lie. I didn't yell or erate anyone. But it's fine. I have already reached out to a lawyer, and I recorded every phone call. Have a...
