Roshambo Hair Studio — Local services in New Hartford

Salon is beautiful and very welcoming. Front desk staff are very friendly and accommodating. However, I scheduled an appointment for a partial foil and cut. I told my stylist I preferred subtle highlights but I wanted to blend the grays I have in the front with the highlights. The highlights came out beautifully although my grays in the front were left untouched. I was also charged for a glaze that I wasn't prepared for or even asked as an option. I was recommended a temporary gray spray to solve my gray issue. My stylist was very friendly and polite, I would give her another shot. However I am irritated that I paid $145 for services and still left with visible grays. The point in wanting the highlights was gray coverage and the service fell short, especially for the money. Perhaps I need to be more specific and say in clear terms, "i want my grays blended with the highlights. i do not want...

I have alot of hair. Long, thick and wavy. I am so happy I found Roshambo! I love the balayage color I got and the style is awesome! The owner and stylists are super nice, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Great location. Salon is very clean and I love the decor. Each station is positioned to have a more one on one with your stylist and not crowded on top of each other which is nice. Waiting area is super comfy with seating, magazines, and coffee/hot cocoa. I've been a customer for 5 to 6 years and had the pleasure of hair cuts from Jen, she's a L5 stylist and best one there in my opinion! I mean all the stylists are awesome there but she's the best of the many superstars that work there. Everyone, especially Jen are very friendly and are very attentive to whatever hair service you need, especially the scalp massage during shampooing/conditioning! THANK YOU JEN!
