Barkery Boo'tique — Local services in New Milford

One staff member in particular is rude. Idk her name or her role, she gave me manager/owner vibes and had blonde hair. My dog is an excitement peer when people try to touch her so I usually warn people before they try to pet her. One of the staff offered her a treat and she tinkled, which I didn’t think she would do bc the lady wasn’t trying to touch her. I apologized and the lady cleaned it up. Later another staff, very nice gentlemen came to say hi to my dog and before I was able to tell him she excitement pees, she did it. The blonde lady came over and told me that I would have to take my dog outside if she’s gonna keep peeing. My dog doesn’t pee in stores to mark or to relieve herself, she only does excitement pee. I was trying to tell her she’s not peeing on purpose, but the nice male staff told her it was on him because he went to say hi. She was very rude and did not know the context of the situation before almost kicking me out of the store. I like this place as it has a good selection and clean ingredient brands. I’ve been coming here for two years for both my pets birthdays, but I’ll be thinking twice...

i just wanted to say the owner is amazing! when i had walked in i had my dog with me to pick out her birthday treats, the owner had her dog walking around the shop, my dog can be a little skiddish around other dogs at points and the owner was the best about this!! i couldn’t thank her enough, i was expecting to have something said about me bringing her out but instead the owner was super accommodating with me by moving her dog into a blocked area for a few moments, and to the owner if you see this; i couldn’t thank you enough for making...
