Absolutely a great deal to be had! Fresh fruits and vegetables of all kinds. They sell "Chocolate Tomatoes" I never had them but for 5 of them in a pack for $2.99 it was worth a try for one patron. For me I found every garden fresh vegetable for my winter soups. There are vegetables that I've never heard of before. It's for all intents and purposes an open market though you will go inside this strangely yellow colored building for most items and checkout. The floors reflect the soil just like a farm market. You can grab a hand held cart, a box or bring your own carry bag. You won't believe what $5.00 will buy you! There's no excuse for not eating well when high quality produce is minutes from your door. Salads I'm coming back! Red peppers I can afford you again along with our friends the mushroom family! I love it and the bounty of the food there humbles me knowing we have so much food in the face of famine. I thank God for the plenty. When I go to this store I am reminded to be...
Read moreThis place is horrible! I used to go there all the time. Produce was always fresh. Then all of a sudden it changed and I stopped going there. I went today for the first time in over a year to see if it was just a change of ownership and needed to regroup. Well, it's even worse! The produce quality is horrible and selections are horrible. I thought I would give it another chance. Huge mistake! Went to get some produce and tomatoes. How do you allow moldy tomatoes displayed purchase? Just disgusted! Then I heard a woman behind the counter yelling at the cashier that's been there for a long time. I don't know if it was the owner or manager, but you NEVER yell at an employee in front of customers! Especially since the employee has always been so nice and helpful! SHAME ON YOU!! You should be ashamed of what you have done and the quality of the produce you are selling! NEVER GOING...
Read moreThe fresh veggie selection is decent. Lots of traditional Mexican squash, aloe, peppers, etc. Cold ailse offer few cheese options, micro greens, bacon meats & then the dry aisle harder to find cultural goods..
I've been twice & am sure now it is not family friendly for young children. The ailes are small & not suited for strollers along with foot traffic & grocery carts. The staff on both occassions made comments to us about my kid & seemed to make an effort ro greet other customers (perhaps regulars?)
Wright's Natural Market staff are much more welcoming, helpful, & family friendly.
**i just read the reviews of how things are handled when stuff goes wrong & you can see for yourself what happens there..they are friendly unless there's an issue, then it is a different ball game. Go somewhere else where folks can regulate their emotions more...
