My first time there today I'm not a good experience with one of the women. I didn't see or notice the carriages as I walked in. I was impressed with the store. I walked around grab some things I wanted. I walked over the counter as I had too much to handle and asked if I could place them on a counter they weren't working at at the time . I was told told yes . I could put them down and told her I was going to continue to look around. 10 minutes later I went to check out and all my items were gone. She told me that they were in her way !! And had somebody put them in a carriage , as I looked around I told her I could not see the carriage she said she was busy working could not help me in a very mean voice. By the way she didn't have any customers at that time. They were not in the carriage another older woman had put them back on the shelves where they came from. That woman help me to retrieve all my goods. She was very nice and a real asset to the store. She also check me out at the cash register after we found everything. The younger woman woman had a extremely bad attitude and should be not working around customers. I was very disappointed to be...
Read moreSo this place USE to be a great place to go to score some decently priced used goods, now I walk in and am greeted with a $150 pricetag on a beat up keyboard from the 80's? Everything is starting to be overpriced...and for you guys to say you research things? No... you're not EBAY... you're a domations place.
Well I am taking MY donations elsewhere. This is turning into Goodwill.
I have come in multiole times and found stuff that I ACTUALLY WANTED and it didn't have a price tage and instead of offering me a price or receiving an OFFER you all just FLAT OUT REFUSE to sell it to me, which to be quite frank, is jacked up.
I have purchased two over priced appliances, and a few RC cars that didn't work. Kinda disappointed at the direction this place is going.
The building outback is also ridiculously overpriced.
I think you all need to go back to your old pricing strategy. Like I said, you're not an online retailer. You're a donations place. I would gladly give you $20 for $15, but I won't pay $30, for a $20.
Thanks anyways....
Read morePlace is so overpriced that the same items from 6 months ago is still there. The same very scratched DVD and CD $2-$5 disks are still there. the condition of the disk would assure that they would never play on any machine and over priced. They had them donated for free and any local pawn shop which purchased the used disks sell the for $1 each or as low as 15 disks for $10 and they are all in mint shape. I recommend you clearance the entire store for 90% off everything for a few weeks, then toss everything left over and the start with some fresh new merchandise. This will stop ppl like me from just giving up on your store. This is why we have seen so many thrift store close for good like the goodwill in Edgewater and 5 thrift stores in Titusville in just the last year. Your next, I'm sure. Sad, all over greed and taking advantage of the public by selling non working...
