I spoke with Matthew for about an hour today and come to find out he was lying to me the whole time we spoke. I was told by him repeatedly that my family's deductible on my phone insurance to repair my phone was $230. I repeatedly stated I was new to the area, didnt have a lot of money, and looking to repair it, not replace it. He kept saying "its different in florida and that's the price" After a long discussion about what I should do about my broken phone I opted to not get the upgrade he was so eagerly pushing on me. When I got home I found out that my deductible to repair was only $30 and the cost to replace my phone was $230. Not only that but my home state had the exact same pricing. This was very clearly stated when I started my insurance claim online. Mathew was very knowledgeable and I have a hard time believing it was a mistake. He was very friendly which gave me the impression I could trust him. Overall in the moment I greatly enjoyed my experience but it was all soiled when I found out the truth. I beleive this lie was an intentional and direct attempt to get me to upgrade and I can only assume it was made so he could get commission on a phone sale/upgrade. UPDATE(6 days later): I was given the impression that the mix up that happened during activation of new lines in store would not affect my account or bill. 6 days later its still on my bill and when we contacted Victor to help us he only directed us to call to fix it ourselves. Mind you all the whole reason we had came into the store was because the people in customer service on the phone messed up our account the first time. 2 stars now that I have to fix my own problem. But hey thank you to customer service on the phone who claims to have fixed our issue. We will see on our bill again in 5-10 business days. Thanks for the upsell but terrible customer service to a customer thats been with the company for 16 years.

They were not enthusiastic about helping and did not follow through with my request. Extremely upset and disappointed with the customer service, however, I decided to give it another shot and get a different opinion from the same location because it was most convenient in conjunction to my home. Anyways, SAM SAM SAM green eggs and ham!!! This Verizon Sales Representative was absolutely phenomenal and extremely helpful! He went above and beyond to exceed my expectations with a heart of servitude. Highly recommend this gentlemen for any of your customer service needs or any phone initiation. Sam was very knowledgeable and sociable. Immensely helpful in that he went to the extent of setting up ICloud and made sure no stones were left unturned with my new purchase! Sam!
