Being located in a Wal-Mart is good because I like the one-stop shop. I get my groceries and things then I can stop for a quick bite. But when the service is not good then it's a problem.
There were only 2 workers when we went in so the line was long. But no worries, we inched up closer. The elder lady in front of us was being very particular so it agitated one of the workers. The other worker had only been in the job a few days (she told us) so it caused a little issue with the elder lady because this new employee did not know her usual order.
However, the regular worker did not do anything to help out but just rolled her eyes and kept mumbling under her breath. The elderly lady couldn't hear her but I could and she was not being kind.
Then when we finally got to the front of the line and my wife said we're getting 6 foot longs, she threw her head backwards and sighed! If she thought we didn't hear or see her, she is really naive for thinking so.
Nevertheless, I tried to lighten her mood by saying with a smile "Aren't you happy we're just plain customers?" She managed a smile back and that helped her conversate with us a little. She vented to us about the elderly lady but I gently said (with a smile again) "luckily she's helping our economy!" She smiled again and kept things moving.
The 3 stars is not of Subway because the food was still the same quality as other locations. But it is for the experience and the lack of customer service. We were on our way to the beach and this was the closest Wal-Mart and Subway we could find. Imagine if she is like this to all the customers. I'm sure she can figure that maybe majority of the people coming through are out-of-towners and first impressions matter. Or maybe she doesn't care. Either way, maybe Subway should look into this...
Read moreI’m done with this place. Twice recently I’ve come in while they are making sandwiches for a mobile order and just stood around for several minutes, the only one in line, without even being acknowledged in any way. Not a “hello” or “we’ll be right with you”, simply ignored. This time there were three people behind the counter, one of which was doing nothing and just looked at us while also not speaking. Maybe I’m crazy, but at the very least you acknowledge the customer, then probably squeeze that small order out for the person standing there and go back to the mobile order, let alone if you have a third person just standing around. That seems like a common sense approach.
Apparently if you want to be served, mobile order is the way to go, or go somewhere else. What terrible leadership this...
Read moreThis is the worst subway I have ever encountered. The veggies appeared old and soggy, and the bread was nasty. The costumer service was repugnant, from the minute we walked in they were giving us nasty looks and didn't even greet us. I have friends visiting from another country and they understand very little English and the women taking there Order had no patience and immediately started giving them attitude so I had to step in and let her know the attitude was unnesassary and they didn't understand what she was trying to say. I am appalled by the treatment we just received, it was extremely obvious they were discriminating because an American couple walked in after us and their attitudes towards them was quite the opposite. I will never step foot into this...
