This place is run by compulsive liars. After paying for a $25,000 fire place, you would think this family owned business would keep there word or service your fire place in a timely manner.
The fireplace had been working fine for about 2 months before it stopped igniting. So i call there business and of course no one can geta back to me. After seceral phone calls and multiple physical visots to theor location they finally send their worker over. He says batteries need to be change but a valve must be replaced.
After he leaves of course the fire place stops working. I again call these compulsive liars who promise they will get me a replacement valve. Another game of phone tag with responses such as this guy doesn't handle this and have to wait for that guy game continues and again I physically go there and they tell me I will take replacement valve off a floor model. I explain to then winter is here it is cold and I want my fireplace for thanksgiving. Again empty promise to get his guy to come replachristmas. Of course a no show.
Then today I physically go to office again, before I can open my mouth ownef says I have it written down now to send a guy to your house this afternoon. Of course a no show. so now they are closed not open tomorrow and my 25,000 dollar fireplace which was purchased with the intent to use and enjoy this fireplace during Thanksgiving and christmas.
Do yourselves a favor do not do business with these compulsive liars.they will lie to your face, take your money smile at you and not complete their end of the bargain.

At that point, I decided not to proceed with the service. However, to my surprise, they still insisted on charging me for a service that was never completed; it was merely diagnosed.
When I called Joe to address this issue, I offered to pay for the technician's diagnostic visit, but he began to raise his voice and verbally attacked me. This unprofessional behavior was completely unwarranted, as I had been informed over the phone that they would charge for their service, even if nothing was done. The lack of email confirmation, reservations, or any signed policies and agreements further added to the confusion and frustration. It seems like everything with this company is conducted solely over the phone.
I strongly advise against using BiG apple BBQ and would not recommend this company to anyone. The poor customer service and lack of professionalism demonstrated by Joe make this an unpleasant and unreliable choice for...
