I loved this place. Been coming here for years with my family! Tonight was such a disappointment because I called to order, for pick-up, two 16 inch quattro staggioni and a focaccia, and timed it so that it could be ready for when I get there- I was a 20 minute drive away and that's how long they told me it would take and it would cost $44. Perfect...I get there and they made the wrong order-- whatever , it happens. So I wait an extra 20 minutes but what bothers me is that he could've honored the price of the order they messed up, instead they charged me more, $54! So what should I charge them for my time? ...I guess this review. The customer service needs work, they gave me attitude and the pizza guy could've been more apologetic instead of making it seem like it was my fault for making him work double- time. They couldve showed good character by not charging me extra FOR MY TIME. This review cost you $10 smh. It's not about the money, but the principle. The pizza was dry and for over $22 you would think they wouldn't skimp on the mozzarella! It lacked flavor....
Read moreI'm sure my experience was out of the ordinary. The food looked good, but it took over an hour to arrive. They gave us several pizza appetizers (for a large group of us) but my husband ordered a pizza for his meal before he knew about the appetizers. Everyone in our group got their food (albeit very late) and they finished eating, and he still didn't get his food. He had ordered a Pio Pizza, and finally, as everybody was leaving, they brought him a hastily made arugula and tomato salad with practically raw chicken slices over focacvia bread. It was not at all what he ordered. Then I asked for 2 boxes so we could take our food home. The blond hostess/server ignored me. I asked her 3 more times over the course of 20 minutes, and she kept putting up her hand saying, "in a minute!" I finally walked over to her, the boxes were RIGHT THERE, and she put her hand up to me again, dismissing me. I looked at my husband and we walked out. We will never, ever...
Read moreCame here with my sister and son in a Monday night and almost had the whole place to ourself. The bread and homemade mozzarella appetizer were incredible. We got the mushroom ravioli, pizza modena, and spaghetti carbonara and both were very good. My sister and I shared two cocktails that had Deep Eddy vodka in them-- the grapefruit and the Austin one with OJ and peach. We both agreed the Austin one was the best of the two. (Oh, and my family lives in Austin and I'm a big Deep Eddy Vodka fan, so I was delighted that they not only offer cocktails with this brand but even have Ball jar glasses with their branding on it!) We came during a heat wave and I had to get my fan out, so I do wish they could have had it a bit cooler but it's also wise to conserve energy during a heat wave. I just don't enjoy myself nearly as much when I'm hot. Server was excellent, very attentive and helpful....
