On a recent visit to the College of Staten Island, we went to their Center for the Performing Arts building. There they have an exhibit (I believe it is permanent) of friezes from the ancient Greek Parthenon (built between 447 & 438 B.C.). The College of Staten Island acquired these rare casts manufactured by the Caproni Factory of Boston. They were made from original molds created after Lord Elgin brought most of the Frieze to the British Museum in the 19th century. While on campus we were able to see a small herd of deer foraging. It is amazing to think that we are in New York City and yet having this experience. The College, covers 204 acres - the largest college campus in NYC. 9,788 full-time students attend the school.

Open house review - we were impressed with the faculty staff. Campus looks great and is very quiet. Accommodation is modern and private. There shouldn’t be any excuses from the students. If you want to learn here is affordable school close to NYC all you have to do is study. Wifi was trying to steal our information. We were unable to read the terms so we stayed out of the “FREE WIFI”. This was the biggest disappointment. Shame on you admin. At least allow us to read the TOS.

Beating college, build on huge area. Buildings are pretty far away from each other. It takes too much time to walk from classrooms to library or other classrooms. The staff is low and due to Covid-19 canteen is closed as well. Miscommunication is at peak, along with the teachers and students. Parking is very nicely provided for students to park their cars inside the campus, which is great. Overall about 3 to 4 🌟 stars.

The college is an outstanding institution. The faculty and administration are dedicated, professionals and outstanding educators. The school offers many affordable programs for the working middle class. And the struggling poor. The school has an excellent science dept outstanding programs in all the sciences. The venue of Staten Island has changed and the university has changed with cultural diversification. And the demand for the new global economy. However, everyone works hard to run the university from administration building including the president. Many of the instructors are accomplished and published writers. Dr. Donald Omago, Dr.Garcia, Dr. David and Dr. Weiner is outstanding and dedicated writers and accomplished educators. I highly recommend this university for your undergraduate and graduate objectives. Its long journey to the college but they have excellent bus transportation. From the Staten Island ferry. In addition, this college is cost-effective and affordable. Consider my argument in your journey for education. I also recommend Kingsborough and Medgar Evers they have outstanding biology department. And dedicated staff. I would like to thank all the kind people who run this university. Including financial aid department for their hard work and director dedication. Whether you live in a foreign venue or in the United States. highly recommend this university. And your life journey will be a positive...

My top list is what I want from the college campus.

1.need new clean bathrooms, new roof ceiling and building sanitization, as I am sometimes able to see Spider web, ceilings built around the campus and fix all any broken Structure

Course enrollment management. I honestly dislike the fact here csi colleges, that each class subject either doesn't add any more open classes or professor or time and building distances. The school, for some reason, is more likely to support in-person activity for some reason which I really don't mind, but my only problem is that I am a morning person. Why on earth do you guys keep on giving a midnight course instead of morning or afternoon classes like do you understand that students cannot just switch their bedtime like that and harm their body for it futhermore morning class is our daily basis, since were kids like this is unacceptable?

school meals are too expensive, like come on man, why do we apply for financial aid and still have to pay off our metro card and meal fix that?

Finally, this campus is big, so to be fair, the school needs to atleast build a personal road training session for driving school and, additionally, the free use of an ebike/golf car for students to get to...

I would rate 0 if I could. After a month of not getting phone calls or letters i was told that i owe over 3k when i under the assumption that i never even fully registered when i went to call to drop out the lady was VERY RUDE even saying after i told her there was no communication saying "is this going be a argument" this is no way to talk to someone you stole from never was i called or sent a letter about me attendanding or any show up dates just 3 emails that that go to spam i never even got a text book or show up to any class this scool is daylight robbery. Also I cant even get in touch with their office to offically drop out so their whole online apporch to applying/dropping out/doing anything dosnt work at all and is like pulling teeth to deal with since they dont call you back and the emails they tell you about are all not working. If you can choose to go anywhere else do it because they find everyway to mess you over. There was many reasons i didnt go in the first place including their hard to work with professers/reps/officals. So please do not go about like i did and think the bad things about this place are rumors i only gave them a chance and they still found a...
