What a treasure to have this carousel right here on Staten Island. The staff was so excited to see my 20 year old Multiple Ride Voucher (and yes, still good!). It was a $20 value for 20 rides back then, the current price is $50, it's a good deal if you have a few kids or visit the park frequently. On that note...sad to say the adjoining playground is awefully rundown (maybe I'll do a separate review). Willowbrook Park is still nice for a stroll around the pond (or is it a lake..no swimming! And fishing requires a permit). Back to the carousel....the ride is beautifully decorated with Staten Island landmarks and ride-on animals (both static and moving animals are available). The "ride-ons" include the traditional horses, wild animals, and a few fantasy creatures. If climbing is an issue there's an accommodating sit down feature with benches (not saddles). Fair warning; there is a souvenir stand and ice cream treats freezer on the site. So if you have a child who "has to have or else" bring some extra cash (and napkins or wipes). Free baby tip: we brought a baby spoon from home (for the ice cream, and they don't have cups! On a stick variety or the sandwich kind) because I didn't wan't to use a plastic spoon (if they had?), sometimes those have sharp edges. Parking near the carousel is limited. If the lot is full, drive past the carousel to the picnic side parking. Anyway...go and enjoy! (Look for the old ticket vouchers on display inside the ticket booth)

I love taking my kids here every season! The carousel is beautiful and fun and the staff are always nice! Parents are allowed on with their kids free of charge and you may be able to steal an extra ride too :) They have bbq grounds, a playground, and a pond here too where you can catch and release and feed the birds! It's a gem in the city! I do think they need to upgrade the playground! It's tiny and there are no swings!

Had my daughters 2nd birthday party here and had an amazing time! The manager and hostesses Jamie and Dora were absolutely amazing and helpful. From communicating with the coordinator months in advance (and dealing with all my questions) to cleaning up at the end of the party everyone went out of their way to be accommodating. My guests, adults and children, all had a blast and raved about the experience.

Overall this park is really family friendly and nice. Carousel 🎠 is nice attraction for kids. Other than carousel, the short trails, path around the lake, playground, BBQ area is really cool and convenient.

I love the fact that you can rent the carousel for your special events like birthday parties or celebration. It has the indoor and outdoor option if you are renting so rain 🌧️ or not 🌞 this place is...
