Ideal Fresh Market — Local services in New York

Wendy the cashier suggested I have my food delivered after passing a $150 spending limit, I was skeptical because I live on the other side of Brooklyn, she never looked at the address after I was asked to write it down along with my name and number on paper. I leave the store and it took me about 20 mins or more to get home ,she said the delivery would go out in 15 to 20 mins. I get home and no one has arrived for almost an hour, I call the supermarket and all these people are answering unprofessionally..not giving their names , mumbling. I ask why my food has not been delivered and the person tells me the delivery guy went on break..... Wow so I waited 15 mins before calling back.. Called again and asked and was told "oh you know what happened, they put your address in GPS and that's too far mami" .NO ONE TOLD ME THE DELIVERY DISTANCE WHILE I WAS IN THE STORE.. all they said was yea its far...the guy is on break.....that has nothing to do with me!! then a woman with a carribean accent answers and tried to bring me to a calm by constantly calling me baby, Unprofessional!!!!!! tells me she wasn't on the floor when Wendy told me my groceries can be delivered, because if she was she would have told me I live too far. I had somewhere to be that was extremely important and scheduled but because I had to wait for them to deliver my food which would take 40 mins after the guy comes off his break in 15 mins. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. LACK OF COMMUNICATION, pure unprofessionalism. I don't care about the good prices the people that dealt with me were rude and when my food was delivered I had items In my bag that were not mine and some things I purchased were missing.The only reason why I did not go back to the supermarket is because I didn't want to end up in any BS with how angry I was. I shop in Ideal Food Basket often. They have recently upgraded the store entrance, changed the way fruits and vegetables are displayed. Organic fruits and vegetables have been added. The cashiers are pleasant. The help of the food stockers are helpful. Today I was looking for Nacho Cheese Doritos that was on sale. The shelves were stocked with Spicy Nachos and Ranch. One of the workers was stacking can goods, I asked if he knew if any Cheese Nachos was available. He said, just a minute. He went to get a ladder and found a couple of boxes of the Nacho cheese. He gave me what I wanted and stocked the shelf with Nacho Cheese. That is excellent customer service. When items are not available customers get a rain check...

I like shopping here don’t get me wrong but it seems like I could never leave the supermarket happy. the staffs are ok and they are very nice and respectful and friendly! but just 1 particular person who’s always picking a fight with me. and I’m not the only person who’s he bothered. he even bother my mom once. he harasses you and sometimes he comes at you for not paying attention at what happens for example someone stole something and he kept coming at me because I didn’t say anything meanwhile I just got there and I didn’t even know someone was taking something.
