I visit this Korean shop because there is a wonderful lady there who all Jamaicans get along with because she knows how to respectfully relate to us. I say so because some weeks ago I celebrated my birthday, and I went to purchase a breadfruit and some green bananas because I wanted to make myself a lovely Caribbean Birthday breakfast to share with my housemates at the time to celebrate. As I went to the counter to pay I remembered that I had forgotten to pick up a banquet of flowers. So I asked her if she could allow me to run and get it. She surely did. And to my surprise she decided not to charge me for the flowers and she threw in a belated Mother's Day balloon. I thought hat was lovely. When she is not present things are not so nice.
