MacNeil Park Boat Launch — Local services in New York

A perfectly fine place. Wonderful water views. I was there on a weekday Monday May 3, 2021 so it was totally empty. If launching a boat or kayak I'd check a tide table first because when I was there there was no water at the concrete walkway end. As I rated about this whole park this area is the weakness. It would be a bad way to go to the ocean because first of all, there's glass everywhere. Second, a horrible stench in that area. Third garbage from leftover waste and dead fish have been washed for days there. And fourth the terrain is very muddy and rocky making you almost trip from the unstable rocks and have your shoes...
