I was in Millennium care for almost 2 months and recently got switched to another shelter in the borough. I honestly liked being there the people are friendly, and the floor me and my sister lived in was unproblematic if you mind your business. Plus the food was good! The security was always welcoming, but always made sure to check out the stuff you bring in. The case managers are also helpful as long as you’re on top of your stuff as they are on yours. Gonna miss it, but the neighborhood has its ups and downs and has a lady screaming “meow meow” for a good while luring in the cats in the streets….wish I was joking LOL. The director comes in and leaves when she pleases as well as the case managers. The case managers don’t tell you anything about your case or status as well.
