Great skiing with the amazing views of the city. A little expensive if you are not a Staten Island resident, but more convenient than Poconos or Whiteface! There is a shuttle from the Manhattan ferry right to the lifts. You can purchase the lift tickets at the ferry terminal in the city (there is a discount if you bring your skis with you). So put on your skis, get on the ferry and enjoy the slopes.

Ps. Don't drink the water from the drinking fountains or you might want to...
