Safari Day Care — Local services in New York

I searched daycares for months in and out of the area. I stumbled across Safari Daycare online and figured why not go visit. When my husband and I arrived we noticed that the place was immaculate and all of the kids were clean, happy, and listened without having to be asked twice. You could tell they felt at home and loved, but also respected the structure. That is exactly what we were looking for. It was the only place I visited that gave me a good vibe especially from the ladies working there, Cindy, Jess, Yeimis and the owner Eleida. We signed our son up and he started when he turned 9 months old.

It was by far the greatest thing we ever did for him. On the first day I cried like a baby at work. The ladies sent me pictures and he seemed so happy. By day 3 he was giggling and reached out for them when we arrived and it made my day. It confirmed everything for us. He knew where he was and he was happy to be there! He is now 2 days away from his first birthday, and during the 3 months that he has been there, he has blossomed in every way. It's noticeable that they work with him daily on his physical and intellectual development as well as keeping him on a routine. They do activities, crafts, and turn everything into a celebration! We love getting photos daily and look forward to seeing what he has learned each day.

He has grown to absolutely love the ALL of ladies working there as well as his new friends. I love that he is comfortable and feels safe. You can't ask for more than that.

Sending our daughter to Safari has been a wonderful experience. She started there at 18 months and since enrolling we have absolutely seen significant gains in her development. What we love most about Safari is the love and care shown by the employees/owner to all of the children. My daughter loves going there everyday and she loves her teachers. They truly foster a loving environment and you can tell that they actually care about the kids and their social emotional well-being. They are nurturing and supportive and educate through positivity. We also love that students engage in a variety of activities from dance to reading to arts/crafts to yoga. I also appreciate that the kids are of mixed ages. Having my daughter spend the day with kids that are slightly older has really contributed to her language development as she adores many of her older peers and has picked up a lot from them. I highly recommend Safari Daycare and am so glad we enrolled...

Being a new mother and returning to work is never easy. I had been in search of a loving, clean, and affordable daycare for awhile and I was so happy to find it here at Safari Daycare. The owners Onell and his wife Elinda are personable, friendly and professional. The first time I arrived I remember noticing how organized and clean it was. Another one of my favorite things about Safari is how loving their staff is. They always greet Abby with a smile and they are almost always on the mats playing right next to all the kids.That was very important to me. On top of all this, they also have a backyard play area, they provide meals and snacks and send me pictures of my daughter doing activities and playing with the other children.
