Been coming here for a whole year and this review is LONG overdue; it’s just one of those places that you sometimes want to gate keep 🤭

My boyfriend comes here to do his perm frequently; eventually I hopped on the wagon to get it done too. I came back for my second perm, done by Kim. For my first one, he warned me that “first-time perms may last less than a month” and given that I had bleached hair ends, it was more of a reason to loosen up throughout time. But to our surprise, it lasted for over 5 months with just less waves, I honestly think it would’ve continued to stay more wavy a lot longer if I maintained it in the way Kim instructed me to with hair lotion and hair oil after every wash but I get lazy lol; hence the reason why I got a perm in the first place.

Nonetheless, shoutout to Kim for the attention-to-detail for all my haircuts and trims. Would highly recommend going to him, he speaks basic English but he’ll always try his best to achieve the look you want as long you show him pictures and give him details. Don’t be afraid to ever ask him questions or his opinion!!

I cannot stress enough how disappointed I am with the haircut I received at this salon. The layers are horrendously uneven, with one side noticeably shorter than the other, creating an awkward, lopsided look that cannot be styled away. The ends are jagged and choppy, resembling something closer to shredded paper than professionally cut hair. Even worse, the stylist seemed oblivious to their glaring mistakes and brushed it off and a dismissive comment about “how ugly his clients are.” It was an old man. I informed him my hair was uneven and he denied it constantly. I left feeling humiliated and furious, knowing I’d need to spend even more money somewhere else just to fix the mess they created. do NOT get your hair cut here. Especially by the old man there. I specifically told him that I was sensitive with my hair and what I wanted. He does NOT listen at all and does whatever he wants. Asked for a straight line cut with layers. THIS IS A LITERAL V. My hair also came out extremely uneven. The least he could’ve done was evenly cut my hair, but nope. Super uneven and shaggy.
