Shop Fair of Claremont — Local services in New York

I entered the store and the deli is at the entrance. No number system I see, so I stand there which is customary. There are two people behind the counter, one male one female. They see me but no one is saying anything. An elderly man came in and said something in Spanish and the woman responded and took care of him. I walk around the side of the deli counter where I know they can see me and still I am ignored. I say excuse me to get her attention and ask her if she could take my order and she pointed to the male and said he takes care of the deli orders. I walk away because she and he both locked eyes with me on more than one occasion while I was standing in front of the deli and no one offered to help. The woman was working. The was eating and talking. While my mom was in produce, I kept my eye on the deli guy to see what he would do when someone else came to the deli. Two woman entered the store and stood there. Guess who acknowledged them and took their order. The rest of my shopping experience was pleasant but I probably won't return. I prefer to shop back in NJ near Ridgefield where I use to live. Better quality food. Better prices and better deli service...

If there was a such thing as giving a zero Star rating this place would most certainly deserve it every time I go in there the staff barely speak a word of English when I ask a question they all have an attitude and act as though they're doing me a favor by me coming into their grocery store I can never find anything that I'm used to eating the prices are ridiculously high it makes absolutely no sense you know that your merchandise is entirely too expensive when a store like Target has it at a cheaper price I absolutely dread going in the store but because of the convenience of its location I really don't have a choice they need to hire people who are more diverse to me it is a bit of discriminating seeing as how they refuse to hire any staff that don't speak Spanish or those who are not of Latin descent it's absolutely appalling and just plain out disgusting I truly hate this place they need to be shut down...

The Meats are Always poorly refrigerated, leaking blood and other waste fluids and of Low Grade Quality. The Milk is a Huge Problem too, which doesn't stay Fresh and goes bad after around 3 days and Prices are Rediculously High. The Customer Service Sucks Except for the Cashiers Who Are Nice and Pleasant. They Don't Like It When You Return Items. They Advertise One Price or Sale and Have Another Sale That's Already Over. The Deli Countrr Person is Rude An Sells Bad Meats And There Was A Video Posted That Showed RATS On top of The Meats About 2 Years Ago. I Had To Return Deli Meat 4 Times Because The Slices Had Bites, Teeth Marks In It. I Don't Shop There Unless I need Some Soda or Canned Fòods....
