Ujamaa Health Food Store — Local services in New York

I called and ask for a product and was told they only have one left. I asked the person on the line if they can hold it for me, and I’ll be there in10mins. She was extremely rude and said no before hanging up the phone on me. I will never purchase anything from there nor do I recommend anyone else to go there. I visited the store after spotting it from across the street. Mya (I hope that's how she spells her name) was a very welcoming gem. I came in to see if she had a menthol oil for congestion which they did. She also gave me free tea to try. If I was not on a time crunch I would have loved to stay and chat with her and find out more about the business. I'm definitely returning very soon. I live in Staten Island so the trip is worth it. I was always drawn to health food stores. My daughter and I were just passing by we came across Ujamaa Health Food store on Utica Avenue Broollyn. We had the best interaction and recommendations from Collett the Sales person. She felt like family, welcoming, warm, friendly and very easy to communicate it.
