Just off to the end of Eeastern Parkway in Brooklyn, there is a great community park created for multipurpose activities.
Even though I know the park, I had never been there before. But last week during Fashion Week on September, 14th. I went to a fashion show by Designer Bweela Steptoe and discovered this beautiful gem in the neighborhood.
The park has lots of green spaces and paved areas. I consider this the ideal model of a public park. There are areas for skateboarding and rollerblading. Alongside are tennis and racquetball and basketball courts. And on the southern end, there are fields for soccer, baseball and football. This is just a pre event to the full celebration 🍾 Everyone was in attendance and it was a blessing to be able to attend such a prestigious event. I was honored by the whole experience. Read moreIt is a beautiful park(since the renovation) and close to home. My neighbor and I have been walking our dogs in the park for well over a month. We enter the park on Rochester and Crown. Unfortunately, the garbage is constantly overflowing and it was littered with firework and other debris. When I went to the park on 7/16/20, I noticed a dead cat. I spoke with one of the park workers and she stated that she would take photos and send it to the appropriate people that handle dead animals. Today is 7/19/20 and as of 7:30am, the cat is still in the park. I called 311 to alert them of the parks condition. This...
