Everytime I go in, the are extremely welcoming and helpful. I've lost count of how many times I've been working on a project, lost a nut/bolt or didn't have something to finish the job, and they came the rescue. What pushed them from a 4 star to a 5 star is their attitude 5 minutes before close. I dropped a nut to my truck repair, needed a replacement, and while I was so concerned about holding them up, they were happy to help and when we had difficulty finding it, I said "I'll come back tomorrow" to which the reply was something along the lines of "let's get you taken care of now, not tomorrow" and my total cost(again just a few nuts) was 57cents. WAS a regular customer spending hundreds over the past few months there until today. They started selling lumber, the 2X4's look like CRAP but I was able to find a usable one couple weeks ago.

I went back up today for 3 more 2X4's, the kid came out and said I couldn't pick through the pile to find 3 more usable ones. I turned and walked out, guess they expect customers to take the CRAP boards THEY pick out, that is just plain CRAZY on their part !!!

This place doesn’t deserve 1 star. They sold me a Thermostat for my AC. I hired an AC man to come install it. He stated the Thermostat did not work and I should return it due to defective product. I went to the Oldtown Hardware store with the receipt and they stated there is nothing they can do and would not take back the product. The manager suggested I should call the company where they made it and maybe they could send me a coupon. This place is a joke. So beware of this place. I would suggest going to Walmart and stay clear...
