Panda Kitchen (NO BUFFET) — Local services in Newton

Ordered online, paid at counter. Food wasn’t ready so sat down to wait. Waited 30 minutes only to have the cashier pick up two carry out bags (which had been sitting on the counter since I sat down) and tell me my order was ready. Sauce was EVERWHERE inside the bags and the food was cold and soggy. If you like long waits, poor service, cold food, and don’t mind soggy, this place is awesome!

We thought we would give their delivery another chance since it is more convenient because we have an infant. But we were wrong to try it once again. Multiple times we have had to waste money on a delivery fee and go to the restaurant to pick up our food after waiting an extra 15 minutes past the latest time it said it would be delivered. The food was good but I was disappointed when I entered. I thought based on the name this was a real hibachi where they cook the food in front of you and had a real sushi bar. Well if you are expecting that it's not. The hibachi grill is behind the counter and you order the food at the register kind of like fast food. The sushi was decent but came in the same plastic containers like buying it from a grocery store. The hibachi was cooked behind the counter and brought out on styrofoam plates.
