Sadly, this location is extorting customers during the holidays. I placed an order and the seller gave the option to hold the shipment at a local UPS (adult signature required). I chose this option. No fee was published at the time. No fee was indicated during the entire transit. I arrived to pick up the three boxes and then was told there was a $20 fee. The seller was unaware and said as much when I called. The UPS manager was adamant and showed zero concern it compassion--pay the fee or my package would not be released. This was 6 days before Christmas. It is extortion. The customer either pays this fee or the seller pays the return shipping with the customer left disappointed for Christmas--either way UPS profits at customer expense. The seller agreed to refund the $20 so I agreed to the charge and handed the manager a $20 bill. He then said it was $21.40 because he added tax. This is not allowed by Florida law since no goods were exchanged and there is no tax on a fee. I've had packages held here for years. This is a first. It will also be my last at this location. Read moreThe young man of Hispanic descent is routinely extremely impatient and rude to customers. The tip of the iceberg was when dropping off two sink faucets for return today for my husband. He asked me if they were identical and I said they are both faucets but not identical. I guess I had 2 codes that were the same. He was completely exasperated with the situation so I asked him which one had a code and I would return tomorrow with the other code. He said in a very rude manner “you are the one making a return and that’s your responsibility to figure out”! I said ok. I will just take them both home and figure it out. He said “yeah you do that”! I said “you always seem to be so rude to customers when I am in here”. He barked back “no I am not, you need to know what you want when you come in here”. Read moreEXCELLENT SERVICE!!!!! I work for a company in Los Angeles and we have a customer that's 2 miles away from this UPS Store in Niceville, Fl. We had to get a document to him, signed by him and turned back around to us in less than 24 hours, so fedex couldn't help us. I had an out of box idea....Last night (after hours) I emailed this UPS Store with the PDF highlighted showing where we needed our customer to sign. This morning at 5am our time (PST) I received a lovely email from the manager stating "we received your email, we have it printed and we are ready to meet with your client". It was like having a personal secretary in Niceville! After our client showed up, they promptly scanned and sent it back to us, I asked them to please charge us and not our client. They complied, took our company credit card over the phone and the deal was completed.
