Overall I like this truck stop. Lately I've had nausea and a headache if I spend the night here in my truck near the bus that's parked in a semi truck parking space. On one occasion when I parked there, the headache and nausea came with diarrhea, and on another occasion they came with vomitting. I think maybe their generator is causing it with the exhaust fumes. I have no solid proof, but my symptoms improved when I stood outdoors for awhile getting fresh air away from the bus. I won't be parking near that bus anymore. If anyone else ends up parking there, maybe you could be alert for any headaches, nausea, vomitting, etc. and if you have problems like that, maybe you could speak up and say something. I've often found evidence that other people have had either vomitting or diarrhea in the restrooms here, so I suspect this might be affecting more people besides just me. But if nobody speaks up to management, it's possible nothing will happen until someone dies of carbon monoxide poisoning. For now, the guy in the bus has offered to move his generator to the east side of his bus. If that fixes it, then great, problem solved. But if people have those kinds of symptoms here, then it might be an ongoing problem that needs to be resolved before someone passes out in their bunk bed and never wakes up. And I don't have a problem with the bus guy parking here all the time, as long as it's safe for everyone, and not making anyone sick. • LADIES BE SAFE** I came here last night around 11pm to take a shower and I had no idea that the bathroom is gender neutral.. Meaning the men and women take a shower together. A Hispanic man walked into the shower ahead of me as I was talking to the cashier who sold me a shower and was going to hand me a Walmart bath towel and no wash cloth. I wasn’t expecting that since I brought my own stuff. The problem that I have is safety and the company is inconsiderate of female drivers or regular female customers like myself. This is a big discrimination lawsuit since the showers are all labeled male with male pictures on the doors and not male /female and they allow or don’t pay attention to a man has just entered the shower room with a female in the shower.. The cashier also refused to give his name when I got ready to leave and tried to soothe me with free coffee. I guess I had better hurry and go and get my gym membership back or pay better attention to photos and reviews before visiting a place. Truckers it is paid parking only $15, but you might be able to get away with not paying since I didn’t see anyone coming out demanding money. Nice paved lot with plenty of backing space, deli food items inside along with a taco restaurant and IHOP! Newer truck stop, it is a nice building and didn’t ever seem to get too busy as I was there. They also sell random items such as souvenirs and decorating items, hats etc. 4 stars instead of 5 because the bathroom smelled horribly bad of urine. It was really didn’t and it is a nice restroom the design of it, but they need to seriously mop it with bleach and wipe down everything because the smell was bad if urine ti the point where I didn’t want to use it. The showers also are open area meaning like prison style or basic training in the army. No privacy. The cashier also was very pushy on up selling lottery tickets when I told him 3 times no thank you!
