I was at the spa on Friday for the Serenity Soak Relax 85 minutes. I was very disappointed with the therapist that preformed my service, and the Serenity Soak Relax overall. My therapist didn’t even introduce herself, so I am not even sure what her name was. First of all, she had a horrible, hacking cough, which I understand she cannot help, and I do feel badly that she was not feeling her best. However, with her job and the importance of providing a relaxing atmosphere, she should not have been working yesterday. There were several times during my massage where she was just hacking uncontrollably and she had to stop my massage many times during the session. At one point, she even said very rudely (because I am sure she could tell I was not able to enjoy or relax at all during my massage) “Excuse me, I guess I am going to have to leave the room for a few minutes and go cough up a lung.” I’m sure you will agree, that was COMPLETELY unprofessional and honestly, I did not enjoy my service in the least. Considering the cost of my service, this is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE! Once my service was over, she asked how it was, and I replied honestly, “okay.” She seemed annoyed that I said that, and replied to me, “sorry about the cough, but it’s the season.” As she exited the room. I have visited Glacial Waters Spa previously, albeit years ago, but the services I received and the therapists who performed them where absolutely top notch and I could not have enjoyed my services more. Unfortunately, I had a completely different experience this time and I am not sure I will return next time I stay at...

This was my husband and my first trip to a spa. From the time I called to book a package, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. When we got there, we were brought back to our locker rooms, where we had the chance to change into our robes. Being first timers, we were pretty nervous, but the staff made us feel very comfortable and answered all of our questions.
The relaxation room was nice, and the Aveda tea was absolutely delicious! It really helps take the edge off before going in for our massages.
We had an exfoliation add on to a couples massage, and it was absolutely wonderful. Our therapists were extremely professional, and walked us through everything. All of the anxiety melted away from the very first touch. The double shower was a nice touch to rinsing off the exfoliation scrub. Both of us enjoyed our massage.
We checked out the sauna and steam rooms afterwords, and I highly recommend sitting in a steam room after you’ve had a massage. I nearly fell asleep!
The atmosphere of the entire place was great, relaxing… The staff were top notch. I cannot...
Read moreHad a wonderful spa day with my mom a few weeks ago. We liked the amenities offered and our massage therapists were great. We loved the steam room! My therapist, Andy, was incredible. She took time to figure out which scents I would like used and the massage itself was a complete experience. The best massage I have ever had! I left feeling completely refreshed, with less back and foot pain, and lowered anxiety! (which is just an added benefit) I would 100% recommend booking with Andy. The salt room was okay. It was nice to try something new, but we honestly didn't feel any benefit from it. And the ONE thing we have a complaint about, is that there wasn't any cool water to drink. They had water dispensers with fruit in it, but no other water options and there were only room temperature options. We feel since we pay so much money for the spa experience, they should have "bottled" water readily available so you can bring it with you to all of the different amenities. Maybe instead of the reusable open-top cups they offer, they could provide reusable bottles for the guests to fill and re-fill! They have bottled water for sale by the front desk... but again, almost a $200 spa day? You should not have to pay for plain, cold water in a plastic bottle. Other than that, it...
