The lady late 40s/early50s working 12/22 with the brassy blonde hair and fluorescent pink lipstick was horribly rude and unhelpful. The equivalent of a Christmas grinch. I was getting a last-minute Christmas gift for my son had questions about a cologne and she was both unknowledgeable and rude at the same time. I asked if there were any cards to test the cologne on she just flat out said “we don’t have any cards.” Almost on purpose being difficult. She got so rude that a customer passerby walked up to the situation And said “just test it on me and sprayed himself w the cologne.” She didn’t seem to like the idea that the guy was offering to help me and as he sprayed himself, she dodged the spray as if it was leprosy and terrified It would touch her. Was quite dramatic. The man was knowledgeable in this cologne being a man and helped me when the worker wouldn’t. It being the last cologne of its kind and so early before Christmas, I clearly decided to purchase it. So she then instructs me to go to the cash register by where the colognes are to pay for it. As I pass my 15 year old daughter On my way to the cash register (who looking at something) the rude worker is side-eyeing my daughter to the point she uncomfortably says “I’m with her” and the worker responds “I figured” .The entire exchange was just awkward uncomfortable. It was the last cologne so I clearly bought it, but my daughter and I just left the store. We didn’t shop around afterwards due...
Read moreThe store was clean & very well spaced out between aisles & racks. The only issue I have with it — is there's nowhere to sit down if you needed to (especially clear in the middle of the store), which I & my mom both need to sit down every so often do to health issues. I even went to try on some items in the fitting rooms, and there was a girl sitting in an open one that practically scared me to death, she was sitting there waiting for her mom or someone to try stuff on and then help her decide whether or not to purchase the items they had picked out, it turns out she had to sit right there in another fitting room and wait because there weren't ANY benches near there for her to sit and wait on! I mean, GOOD GRIEF! — even Walmart usually has a bench OR maybe even TWO beside/near the fitting rooms! You would think that a higher-priced store like Kohl's would provide better accommodations for their patrons! At least the staff was both friendly and helpful when you needed help finding something or whatever. Also unless you find something that has a major sale/ price cut, their prices are pretty high. Obviously you expect a higher end store to have higher prices, but some of them are pretty dang...
Read moreI wanted to exchange pants for a different size. They were out in the store so I wanted to order in correct size. The customer service sent me to the kiosk to place the order which shut down and had technical difficulties just when I placed my order. I didn't get my receipt. I then had to call the number on the back of my card to find out if the order went through. I was placed on hold because they were experiencing extremely high call volume at that time. Then I finally got someone on the phone who barely spoke English. Who transferred me to another person who barely spoke English. This was a horrible experience. Having 3 employees at customer service sending everyone to the kiosk is ridiculous. If I wanted to shop on line I'd do it from the comfort of my home. Kohl's let you customer service take care of...
