Helloā¦stopped here on our way to our hometown Toledo, OH from my sons travel basketball tournament as we were all hungry. Weāve had BWWs numerous of times and have had a great experience except when we came to this location. The hostess and the young lady at the take out orders never really greeted us kind of stared as I said āhelloā first. I was seated first as I was waiting for the rest of my crew (3). Hostess never once when she lead me to my seat said āenjoy your mealā wasnāt very personable at all. And I am foodie so I know good customer service and this by far was not. Waitress came, K, she never greeted me with her nameā¦no hi how are youā¦just what am I drinking and would I like an appetizer? The rest of my 3 came in sat down and were probably seated for a good 6 mins while our waitress was having a full conversation with someone elseās table a while a few times looking at our tableā¦not once did she say I will be right with youā¦helloā¦nothing. So, at this time we are pretty upset wondering what is the problem? All the other tables that had other servers I observed smiled and greeting them. She came and took their drink order and was just standing there and no one heard her say what would like to orderā¦as I looked towards her I just assumed thatās what she was standing there for and we told her our order. She did ask how our food was but after the whole entry to when we were seated to giving our order honestly my sons wanted to leaveā¦just doesnāt make what could had been a nice meal that at all. Our order came and my lemon pepper dry rub traditional wings which I get very often from BWWs were very dry, hardly any lemon pepper seasoning on them. No need to complain because we already felt like we werenāt welcomed although there were 2 waitresses that did smile and said hello. Waited a good 10 minutes after the rest of my crew went out to the car to receive my check, a to go box and our waitress informed/asked would I donate to Toledo Childrenās Hospitalā¦which I do donate to charity so I said yes $5ā¦and I even tipped this young lady $10 although she truly didnāt deserve it but I know how it is when you are working for tips & I didnāt want to match the ignorance we experienced! When I walked out the same hostess that didnāt greet me didnāt say āgoodbyeā¦have a nice eveningā¦thank you for comingā. What I can honestly say is I wonāt ever return to this restaurant and was actually shocked from the experience because it hasnāt ever happened to us in Toledo, OH. Customer service is so important in this industry and it was evident with what we experienced it doesnāt sit right with me as a customer. This is why I made sure to write a review to bring awareness of what we experienced in hopes that it can used as a learning experience and result in customer service improvements with this restaurant. Situations as such can make or break your restaurant and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI think this is the third time I have eaten at a B-Dubs. First thing I have to say is I absolutely think their signifying the wing orders by "Snack, Small, Medium or Large" is pretentious, uninformative bs. People order wings by NUMBER. Gimme a dozen, or a half dozen or 50 for cripes sake. I should not have to be a regular nor should I have to ask a waitron how many each size includes. Why not just go full moron and pull a Starbucks and use different languages for the sizes? I went on the website after we came home and looked it up. Snack is 5 wings and small is "approximately 9", Let me tell you, 9 wings for $12.49 is not a good price. As I remember, the wings are nothing special either. I got their All-Star Sampler, which for $14.49 was a pretty good deal. Some Tortilla chips with Spinach Artichoke Dip. The dip was good if a little thick and the tortilla chips were thin and brittle, but definitely house made. Maybe strong enough for the queso dip, but like I said the Spinach dip was thick. There was a good portion of Fried dill pickle chips. They were nice and crunchy and came with a Southwestern Ranch Sauce that was a good complement. There was a small mound of Chili Cheese Fries with some slices of fresh jalapeno peppers on there that was very good. The last part of the sampler was three chicken tenders. Also very good. Thick, juicy and crunchy. I went with the Thai Ginger sauce. Very good sweet and hot sauce, although the Gochujang pepper that they mention in the sauce is a Korean profile, it was still an excellent sauce. I would order that again. at $14.49 it was a great deal. I ordered it for myself and could not finish it. I would have no problem eating 9 wings for two dollars less and then still being hungry and pissed about being ripped off. Of course, you can get a medium wing order of 14 and pay $18.29 to maybe be satisfied. I'll stick with this sampler. Jackie got their Giant pretzel and another appetizer and had too much. We decided that the All-Star Sampler and the Pretzel would have been great for both of...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreArrived after dinner rush. Had a larger party (4 adults 3 kids.) Host was unplesent rolling thier eyes and acting perturbed at our request for 7 people. Server was busy with multiple tables, and we were understanding and happy to wait. Took a half hour for my fiance to get her drink, my beer arrived within 5 minutes. Server took our order and we were expecting to wait a little longer as it was a large order. We were ignored for 45 minutes. We were finally able to flag someone down to check on our food. All 7 meals came out cold and inedible. Server was understanding and managment asked if we wanted to have the food remade. After 1.5 hour sitting in the resturant we were done. Managment comped the food. We paid for drinks and left. All together a poor experience. I do understand they were short staffed. But knowing that they should have limited seating areas to where they were able to better serve guests with the staff they had instead of allowing full dining room access with far less staff than could reasonably take...
