I Feel compelled to write this as a business owner. Iâm not sure if ownership has changed in the last year but I havenât had a pleasant experience with the check in rep and today was it for me especially since we were the only ones today in the morning around 11am
Again, as a business owner (acquisitions) with over 10 locations in middle tn alone, if you want to scale then you need to hire better help to assure RETENTION.
A person like the front lady today is not going to help you long term. She was on a very obvious personal call as we walked up. She didnât bother to address me properly or even put the phone down and was very passive in the welcome.
But if she is related to the owner (relative perhaps ) then at least I can understand nepotism.
That is my humble opinion. People like the lady today hurt businesses all the time. But if the owner doesnât care⌠then thatâs a different problem.
And if you are going to continue to provide chunky cheese customer quality service then lower the price at least to put up with the inconvenience. The money is certainly not going back into the business. The amount of balls in the slide area is lower and it doesnât provide the cushion for kids like before.
And the cherry on top. She almost short changed me unless I asked for my change. And yes it matters because once upon a time over 3 decades ago I grew up in a third world country. Despite having a 50k watch on me as a daily wear now, I still remember the days when I didnât know what I would eat the next day or hour.
So her low ball offer of adding a free visit for the next time on my way out because she felt âsorry â is more than Likely a way to not get in trouble. 20 bucks for free doesnât sway me one way or another at this point in my life. I would rather pay 50 dollars and simply have you deliver a good service period. Donât cheapen yourself to make up for...
Read moreA few really bad parents spoiling it for the rest of us. Employee at the desk does nothing to enforce basic safety rules ie don't throw balls at other children, etc... Sadly a few parents with children who clearly are not well socialized or behaved use this venue to check out of parenting their children at the expense of the rest of our kids. These parents set up on their laptops or on their phones while their badly behaved children are left to do whatever they want. The responsible parents are left to try to set boundaries to protect their children without wanting to interfere with other's kids. One lady whose daughter was in the ball pit kept asking this aggressive boy to please stop tearing down her daughter's attempts at building a tower. He ignored her and kept kicking and punching down any of her daughter's attempts. We both shared a look of frustration. Parents were nowhere in sight... 4 and 5 year old kids pushing me, an adult and my 3 year old out of the way to bud in line climbing up to the slide. A few bad parents had a number if us leave very shortly after arriving rather than deal with the chaos their kids were creating for the rest of us. Staff need to enforce the rules. No pushing, aggressive behavior or throwing balls at other kids. If your staff is unable to do that they are not doing their job and the membership is a...
Read moreREALLY ENJOYED visiting TN Kids Co today. In the words of 5yo, âwe had too much fun!â I was pleasantly surprised how long we stayed, 2+ hours, and would have stayed longer but baby sister need to go down for a nap. So much to do from the ball pit, climbing, swinging, trampoline on the third level of climbing, so many slides and MUCH MORE!! Staff was friendly and helpful; and the space though square footage wise on the smaller size for indoor playgrounds is very widely used and doesnât feel small at all. Every nook and cranny has a different activity for kids of different ages and interests! There are two seating areas for parents/adultsâ one on each side of the play area, both with great view of the whole play area. The seating area on the left side has stools and a bar top, outlets and chargers, could be great for getting some work done! The bathroom even has a diaper genie and wipe warmer. âď¸âźď¸My only note: If you are bringing small children in a stroller or are mobility impaired PARK IN THE BACK!!! If you park in the front you have to walk up a flight of stairs and there is no elevator. Will...
