George's Seafood — Local services in Norfolk

This place could be a very good place to buy seafood except for a few things that really needs to be done to make it a safe establishment especially to their parking lot. Their parking lot is dangerous!!! There is really no safe place to park!!! The parking lot is about big as a postage stamp, very small!!!! There are no parking lanes or markings signifying where to park safely.

People parking wherever they can! Often blocking other cars in. unable to get out or into the really small place the establishment calls a parking lot!!!

It is dangerous trying to get out on the road safely. The main street is blocked from view because of many cars blocking the street view. The feeling is the owner or owners dont seem to care about anyone's safety to get into their facility or to get out on the street after spending good money with them!!!

The fish are expensive to buy especially the jars of oysters 25 to 30 dollars. For a jar of oysters that dont have many oysters in the jar, insane price for a few oysters!

Maybe the city of Norfolk can look into this establishment safety code or to remedy the unsafe parking lot.

Update: To say the price wasn’t what I was expecting is an absolute lie! I didn’t have a conversation about purchasing ANYTHING after I was told I couldn’t purchase a half bushel. After I was told I could NOT purchase what you had written on the board, I said I didn’t want anything and I walked out. Please do not put words in my mouth and lie on me, thanks. I never have an issue paying for anything! So why would a $40 dollar dozen “NOT BE THE PRICE I WAS EXPECTING” when I wanted to purchase a half bushel that was priced at over $90? I understand the 4th is a busy holiday but maybe you should’ve had the board up to date as it was still advertising half bushels for sale.
