I was really impressed with the Tanglewood Arboretum. I was having a rough day and needed something tranquil and beautiful to ground me. The arboretum did just that.
When you open the gate doors, it feels like stepping into a secret garden. Aside from the sound of the greenhouse, all you hear is the sound of birds and bees, as it should be. The feeling of traveling into another place continues if you venture out the side gate to the trails.
I was impressed by the types of plants they had. There were multiple types of gardens, ranging from wildflower to herbs. I saw multiple native plants, which is fantastic for pollinators and the ecosystem as a whole.
