I think the Navy Exchange at Burkey Mall is an excellent department store. Electronics, clothes, shoes, home goods, tools, pet supplies, kitchen wares, etc. They will match any price you can find locally. I just bought a Nikon D5600 camera kit, inclusive of two lenses (18-55mm & 70-300mm) They had it on sale for a fantastic price, but I found it online at a local big box store for a few dollars less and they matched it...no problem! That's not the first time I've asked them to price match and they always do. Currently (2/15/20) the store is undergoing a major transformation and the layout is the best its ever been. Times are tough and it feels very sad to know what used to be busy and thriving is nearly a shell of what was. The few employees aren't looking too thrilled to be at work, but who can really blame them. Our military has been depleted over the years, closing bases all over the US, and that was all done by desig, was it not. I'm being let go due to higher tenure in 2 weeks. 4 years and could have had retirement, but again, that isn't what the military is about anymore. Started here and came...
