To begin with, I'd heard around Erie that the furniture sold in this town is a little rough and the sales people, a bit anxious indeed. Needless to say certain stores in Erie, not to be specific tend to bombard the masses with advertisements. Having a fondness for Northeast Township for four decades and counting, I decided to pay Seifert's a visit just to check out their goods. Okay, I didn't take a picture, but truthfully, it wouldn't do the place justice "on the inside". First of all Seifert's is easy to get to. Just take I-90 to the Northeast exit leading to PA State 89 "heading North" until you get to the town of Northeast, and then hit the left on Route 20 in the center of town, proceeding West. Seifert's is about two miles for'd on the right side. Got there in twenty minutes.
When I pulled up to the front, of course I was not impressed. Upon entering the store, I looked around, and figured this was a cheap trip gone bad! They had some stuff, but I was looking for a killer couch, and though there were some, there wasn't enough. Now Dale the sales person greets me, etc., and upon eliciting the conversation, he hit upon the fact that there were two other rooms. Entering the second room was like entering a dwarf-en mine of furniture, and I found my ideal cat-napper sofa after about five minutes. Of course that particular one was sold, but I can wait six weeks for mine. That is how much I liked it! Patience is a virtue, and it is a shame I didn't enter the third vault. Maybe "you" my readers "can".
I will be getting my killer couch (sofa) with electric doo-dads, and reclining everything, and I'm set! My advise if you only want to make one trip, is to go to Seifert's House of Furniture. I'd go there first to begin with. Plus you be in wine country. Think about that.
Received total satisfaction. Saved money, no delivery charge, and I got room for my soon to arrive sofa best friend.
I'm grateful. I rate Seifert's most high! Dale was non-pushy, sincere, honest, and not supposed to be there. This was on August 23 at...

Read moreI had a horrible experience at Seifert's Furniture. I placed an order for a King Hickory love seat on 10/12/2021 and paid a $200 deposit. I was told my love seat would arrive in March 2022. No love seat. I was told my new arrival date was August 2022. No love seat. I was told my new arrival date was October 2022. I called early October (note: the store never called me once with a status update) and was given a ship date of 10/14/2022. No love seat. I called again on 10/17/2022 and was given "hard ship date" of 10/21/2022. With no status update from Seifert's, I called again on 10/28/2022 and was told they could not confirm an in store arrival date. They did say the love seat "was on the truck driving around the US delivering furniture and would eventually make it's way to North East." On 11/9/2022 I called again to ask for an update and they did not have one. I asked for a refund of my $200. I was told no refund...
