Was a cold, wintry day in January 2024 as we visited Wild Things Baseball Park in Washington, Pennsylvania.

Not many folks travel an hour from home to look at a baseball venue, off-season, and a chance of snow.

But, when in Rome.... Yes, we were shopping near the park and decided to see the sights without the sounds of people cheering for the home team.

The park looks new. Well appointed as baseball parks go. Although, fenced out, we could see that coming in-season would be a treat for baseball fans. An intimate park, lots and lots of parking with easy, flat surfaces to walk outside and inside the stadium.

One could easily imagine a baseball game ongoing, with runners on base, the pitcher getting the catcher's sign, and the smell of hot dogs with mustard and onions. I personally don't care for onions.

We had seen enough to want to come back for a game in the summer. Hope to see you there. I'm the guy with white hair and a smile.

Don & Cindy,...

Wild things park is a one of best places to hold a event. Some of the notable of these events are probably boxing, baseball and more. but sports aren't the only events that happen here even though it's the minority of the events party's, birthdays, graduation of high schoolers and competitions. Though the past couple of years have been more sports than anything. I love coming here whatever the occasion is and it's also in a great area where many can visit. I personally live in Ohio and coming over here to Pennsylvania is a breeze and I think the best part of all of this is how fun it all is. I couldn't tell in words how much I love every part of this place and if I did we'd be here all day. So to sum everything up so far Wild things park hold public and private events and it will always be a great time no...

Don't recommend if you have disabilities. We were early and still couldn't find a handicap spot. Although they had some handicap spaces "reserved for season ticket holders," which they couldn't verify if those people would even be there that night to use the spots. I asked to use one of the open handicap spaces and was rudely told no (yes I have a handicap placque on my car). I asked to speak to a supervisor and she was even more rude, following me and yelling at me after we talked. Once inside the stadium, the parking guy followed me around everywhere we went. My 7 year old got scared and asked why we were being followed...I emailed afterwards and was told they do not have assigned spaces for season...

I'll make this review short since I just wrote a long glowing review for the Wild Things that for some reason my computer ate. LoL - So this review will just be to the point. The staff was fantastic, the food INCREDIBLE - had the hot dogs, funnel fries, ice cream, and the BEST chicken sandwich I have had in YEARS (and I eat chicken sandwiches out often) (do not judge my eating habits please) The facility was very clean. Here's a few MENUS to whet your appetite. As with all pro athletic events, food is a bit pricey, BUT on Wednesday they sell $1.00 hot dogs! And they do allow tailgating. Ticket prices are fair, park location great, and as I said the staff was fantastic! Go Wild Things!
