I had a bad experience a this store Ashley outlet north Olmsted on April 5th 2024.
I Went there to buy a bookshelf and had a very nice gentleman ( salesman) who assisted me very respectfully and nicely.
Until I mentioned that I have an account I am member with a line of credit and asked to retrieve it to my car
When I went back the salesman place me with her supervisor (or manager) to verify my account so I can get an Idea of what should I pay if I were to finance or pay cash.
When that Supervisor or manager pulled up my account she stated that my account was âon hold â
To my surprised why would it be if I am paying on time and even Have the store or the bank withdrawing their money to my savings every month.
That lady ( manager or supervisor) had me with attitude and short words failing or not trained on how to properly communicate with customers.
I supposed it was her very first issue of that magnitude and not being properly trained on how to manage those kind of situation.
I was stunned by her lack of respect and rudeness meanwhile her subordinate couldnât believe I was treated that way.
I even opened my online account to show them that I am on autopay .. caus it might be an understatement or misunderstanding of information.
Theft identity is real I was a victim and it might be that the bank might have being warned by the credit bureau to do that but I had never received any calls mails from TD bank concerning that matter.
That same supervisor or manager couldnât even confirm if TD bank would answer my call cause she replied â I have nevertheless called them at that hour I wouldnât Know â.
I guess she is supposed to be the one to step in and advise any salesperson talking to a client being that offensive.
Because for the record, clients are spending thousands of dollars in those stores and our good or bad deals keep them on payroll and make the business prosper.
Respect and good treatment all time for clients and if they are undertrained to accomplish the job they should have help in thos situation where they have no clue how to respond help or react.
I did many phone calls in front on both agents but with no success until I walked out the store caus it was time to close and not even a âthank you for coming we hope to see you soon â from the alleged undertrained ( manager or supervisor)
BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE.
I felt guilty for being a customer and for trying to buy at a store where I am already a client.
Thatâs a shame.
After a 30 minutes phone calls finally I had a customer representative from TD bank from the card department⊠She informed me that my account was on hold cause someone called last January and attempted to request a card under my name the put my account on hold butâŠ
TD never sent me a mail or phone call to inform me anything about the subject.
She apologized to me on behalf of TD Bank and make sure she report it so I may not be mistreated or wrongly flagged for a bad guy trying to still from themâŠwhile attempting to buy a bookshelf for my books, just because I believe in education.
TD bankâs customer service might not be the best, but better it is than what I have had at Ashleyâs Outlet North Olmsted store today.
Donât get bitter, just get better.

Walked in today. Wanted to buy two bedroom sets. We told the guy Mike Schmidt that we wanted exactly what we saw on the show floor. He said 1500 for the set. Then we asked him to give us a full size bed instead of the queen and to remove the chest. How was it still $1500 after removing an item and downsizing the bed
I even voiced my concerns about how cheap and low quality the bedroom sets were at the store. He proclaimed that we can choose different quality in the sets that they have. They apparently range from low to high qualityâŠđ€
Total for two bedroom sets 3k plus $300 shipping PLUS TAX (after downsizing the two beds and removing TWO items)
I told him that nobody is gonna charge me shipping if I spend that amount with them and that the price didnât make any sense after downsizing and removing 2 chest from both bedroom sets, how did the price stay the same? The dude sat there next to me and my wife speaking out loud saying âoh I can remove $40 off of this and I can remove $100 off of thatâ
Me and my wife left right after that. He then texted my wife saying he could give us everything for 2950 out the door with shipping.
We knew something was off with that dude Because when we asked to speak with the store manager he flat out told us he was the boss.
We spent no more then five minutes on Ashely furnitures website and got everything we need for under 2k! The same bedrooms online from their own websites were cheaper than the apparent outlet store. đ€Ż
Donât let these people play you. Be smart. Do your research.
We even called their toll free number to confirm the model numbers. The guy wanted to charge me $150 for spring boxes. That are freaking $50 on Amazon. Come on man. Be better do better. The actually âbossâ was walking around listening to him and allowed him to try and get over on us.

I went to Multiple Ashley Stores, everyone were like either you take it or leave the store but we wont be giving you better prices. So At last I called Ashley Store North Olmsted, as to check my last option. I decided to visit the store if they offer any good deals on the product i was looking for.
On call with Michael K and he understood my budget and he actively searched the dining set which I was looking. At the end of the call, without visiting the store, I have ordered my Dining set which I wanted to buy. It is in my buy range, he provided the best customer Service.
The customer service skills were outstanding. He listened attentively to my needs and preferences and did not push me towards higher-priced items, focusing instead on what suited my style and budget.
Overall, the experience with the home furniture salesperson was highly satisfactory. His professionalism, product knowledge, and dedication to customer satisfaction made the shopping process smooth and enjoyable. I would say more store needs people like Michael K, because understanding the importance of prioritizing customer satisfaction and valuing their opinions and needs is more important.
