I came here after going to Anonymously Yours and finding multiple gorgeous lace Pronovias, La Sposa and Essence of Australia dresses for under 800$ in Dallas but I wasn't 100% sure yet and wanted to go to another shop. So I came here after seeing Sunday's stellar reviews and unfortunately they just didn't compare. I did appreciate that they squeezed me in day of with an available appointment time and the shop was clean and pretty. You have to take your shoes off before stepping on the carpet. But once I got in, I felt really rushed and unimportant. The lady that was helping me quickly ran me through their racks and sizes and asked me for my size. I told her I was a 10-12 but I had just tried size 10 Pronovias and other dresses at another bridal shop and they fit well. Almost as if she didn't believe me she told me to look the size twelve first and then we will see. So I tried on a few size 12 dresses she recommended that I didn't like and they all were loose. She also was doing other things in the middle of helping me so I felt really odd and uncomfortable. Just like I was almost am inconvenience. After trying on the dresses on I asked if there may be any more and she wasn't confident I couldn't find any more in my budget and size 12 with lace sleeves. I perused around a bit more but didn't even bother to look at size 10s as I didn't want to deal with her not believing I could fit in them and left shortly after. I was in there for like 10-15 minutes. I was so disappointed in their service and inventory after so much hype on their website and other articles that recommend them. I went back to Anonymously yours and bought a gorgeous full lace sleeve Pronovias dress for 750$ in my size 10. This dress sells for 2200$! The ladies at Anonymously Yours were just sooooo sweet and helpful and let me try on as many dresses I wanted before I chose what I wanted and never made me feel I couldn't find the dress I wanted or that I wasn't the size I said. They also had a ton of gorgeous dresses lace and all in all price ranges. I was just more limited as i wanted sleeves. After going to Sundays it was just suddenly easier to make a decision on who I wanted to buy a dress from so I guess coming here helped anyway. Don't forget to try anonymously yours first, I felt their prices and deals were much better since both stores are off the...
Read moreI had the best experience going to Sunday's Bridal to find my wedding dress. My mom and I went on a Friday afternoon and we had the whole place to ourselves basically. Stephanie helped me with putting on dresses and she was so nice and friendly and incredible. When I found a dress I really liked but I wanted my sister to see it, Stephanie was able squeeze us in right when they opened on Saturday so that I can try on the dress and show my sister. The great thing about Stephanie is that while I was on the fence with this dress she brought up good points - can I sit in the dress? How does the dress photograph? Do I picture it being bustled or not? Having her ask these questions really helped me weed out the ones I was on the fence about. Also Stephanie had the whole process down to a tee. while I was standing on the little pedestal wearing a dress she would take out the ones I didn't like making sure that the dressing room had enough room for trying on dresses (A place I went to recently they kept all the "no" dresses in the changing room making it very very tight to change).
If you're not 100% sure on a dress but find one you really like I highly encourage that you put a hold on it. That is what I did and having that piece of mind knowing that no one can try on my dress for at least 3 days allowed me to really picture me at the alter in THE DRESS. While I ended up finding THE DRESS in another store (I honestly thought that the dress I found at Sunday's Bridal was the one but I didn't want to lose my appointment deposit at another shop, and ended up crying when I put THE ONE on - when you know you know), I will shout from the rooftops that Sunday's Bridal is awesome.
For off the rack pricing (which can be more affordable than ordering a dress) this will be THE FIRST place I recommend to anyone in the DFW area. Worth every second coming to...
Read moreI've only been to two bridal shops, David's Bridal and Sunday's Bridal, but Sunday's is far superior! I had gone to David's Bridal with a friend for her wedding, and I watched how the saleswomen were treating her. They treated her like just another person they could squeeze a huge commission out of. They put her in a dress that was way over her budget, and they all treated us awfully! It was also so crowded at David's Bridal that the experience was just a major headache. I swore that day to never go there for my dress. So, when my turn finally came, I started looking around, and this place came up. All the ratings for Sunday's Bridal were just amazing. And the prices honestly can't be beat (I got my dress, veil, and garment bag all for under $700). When my family and I came into the store, we were greeted by friendly, relaxed people. The first thing they asked me besides my size was what my budget was. They let me take my time, and were even kind enough to let me walk all over the store, sit down, and even take pictures once I found "The Dress!" Trust me on this, all these other ratings say to go to Sunday's Bridal first, and I definitely agree with them! Go there first! It's going to be amazing experience! You'll have so much fun trying to decide what you will wear to wow your...
