I was searching around for a reliable iPhone repair facility. There was one on Ridge and Pearl in Parma but you had to leave your phone with all its confidential information with them. After they gave me a bunch of false information on my iPhone 5S that resulted in its demise I kept looking. I discovered Neil's' FastFix Mobile right around the corner from me. I called him and he had me bring my iPhone SE for repair right away. Nice facility with a small lounge area with large screen TV like you would see in a BMW sales customer lounge area. Really nice down to earth guy. He worked on my iPhone as we sat and chatted about family and church. Within 15 minutes he had replaced the screen and battery with Apple parts. I was on my way. He offers a two year warranty on the battery and life-time on the screen. I left with a very reasonable bill of only $124.20. Try and get that kind of service, reliability and price from the guys on Ridge and Pearl much less from Apple. The screen did experience "Touch Disease". Just Google "Apple will fix iPhone 6 Plus devices with 'Touch Disease'" and you will find the CNN article on this defect in Apple iPhone 6s including my SE. Apparently even the new replacement Apple iPhone screens may have the defect - after all these are all mass produced in China for Apple. Neil explained the malady and replaced my screen without any fuss or muss and for the trouble also installed a Gorilla glass shield. With iPhones past the 5 series Apple states that you can not use any commercial cleaners ... not even your home brew of isopropyl alcohol. These cleaners will remove the anti-smudge coating that is on and in the glass. With Neil having installed the Gorilla glass protector I can now use my 50/50 solution of isopropyl alcohol and filtered water to periodically clean my screen. My old screen was glass and had wound up with a scratch and the coating had worn off (iPhone: "fingerprint-resistant oleophobic--oil repellent--coating"). I have been able to shoot event videos again without the use of a battery boaster pack thanks to Neil's repair.
