OLA Retail — Local services in North Royalton

It’s named OLA RETAIL, so maybe I was wrong for expecting deeper discounts. The store is clean and well stocked. I was greeted at the door, but that male salesmen quickly retreated into the office after advising me to contact him if I needed assistance. I drove a long way to look for a deal here. The way things were priced on the day I went any savings could easily been negated by my fuel cost. In the old days some retailers used to say: “Stacked deep and sold cheap”. These items were “stacked deep, but not sold cheap”. Some items were even “SCRATCHED deep, but not sold cheap“ I work too hard for my money to give it away for damaged, outdated, returned goods for near big box prices. This store is not alone, there are multiple places around these days staged as discount outlets the offer minimal savings. Good service, good delivery policy/system and good exchange policies are well worth paying a little extra at a place that is local and may be there in the future when...

BUYER BEWARE. I went here yesterday to pick out a refrigerator and stove for my house. I found a fridge that I liked and was big enough for my family, well the fridge had dents on it which I expected being a scratch a dent place. So I asked them if they’d take $800 due to the dents and the rude employee said no it’s priced accordingly and already half off. So I said ok, I’ll take it but, I want to verify it works so I had him plug it in for me… which he did.

It appeared to be functioning as it should but then I googled the serial number of the fridge that’s on their price tag to find out this fridge is NOT $1,832 like they claimed it was. It was only $1,098 BRAND NEW IN BOX from Best Buy and Home Depot etc. so you mean to tell me that they’re putting fake prices on items? False advertising is illegal and I’m not sure where they’re getting their pricing from BUT MAKE SURE YOU CHECK the serial number before you buy it so you don’t...

Terrible customer service and rude employee. We came in twice to buy several appliances for our home we just moved into and employee was not helpful nor acted like he wanted to help and said no to every question we asked. Ovens we were looking to purchase appeared used with burnt grease on the inside. Not sure if televisions work because when we asked if we could test the one before we bought it the employee said no. We live over an our away and were prepared to spend thousands of dollars on appliances for our kitchen in addition to a tv but I’d rather spend my money elsewhere. Honestly prices aren’t that great. Oh and when we were going to purchase one of the ovens that didn’t looked used, the same employee told us he needed 15 minutes. I guess he couldn’t ask any of the other 10 employees working, when we were the only customers...
