The Inn Between Bar & Grill — Restaurant in North Royalton

We saw this bar in the valpak coupons that you get in the mail so my dad and I were like ok let's try it and we did. The first time was great the second time wasn't, my dad got yelled at by some other bartender that worked there on her day off because, the bartender behind the bar didn't serve us 2 drinks fast enough. We waited 20 minutes for 2 drinks my dad was asking where they were at and that's when the yelling began. Turns out the bartenders husband was sitting next to us and he was like your right she shouldn't of yelled at my dad. The bartender was getting everybody else's drinks but not us. I got onion rings and they messed them up I said I would've taken those but they said no. The onion rings weren't up to their liking. If they keep this up I wouldn't see this place being around for too much longer. I can only imagine how the back of the house works. There was trivia night the guy was drunk made us laugh but other than that that was that. The food did take too long. You should never yell at people in front of others and bartenders shouldn't come to their workplace and drink on their days off. They should go somewhere else in my book. I understand that this is a family friend type of bar but still. My dad and I weren't part of the normal crowd so maybe that's why I don't know. The owner needs to go back to restaurant management classes or, train the staff better and ban the bartenders for coming in on their days off to...

This was by far the worst restaurant experience for our friends and us. Janelle (probably not spelled right),the owner was rude, crude, unprofessional, and classless. She used vulgarity, as I am sure is a common practice for her. To describe the evening, I would have to take up too much space, so I will give you the highlights. We waited 2-1/2 hours for our food. We were the last ones served, after being the first ones seated. We had spoken to Janelle’s? father, who was there trying to help out. We mentioned to him, with our 2-1/2 hour wait, they should compensate us in some way. I would think a responsible restaurant would do that, but then again, were not talking about a responsible restaurant. After that our food was taken away while we ate, and sworn at, and told to leave. The highlight of the place was Missy, a waitress who had just come in for her shift, and who had worked for the old owner for 11 years. She was fired that night for, as she said not respecting the foul mouthed Janelle?. All I can say is STAY AWAY, unless you enjoy waiting hours for your food, and being treated disrespectfully by a classless owner....

I've been here twice. Both times when I walked in I was created with rude stares, a twenty minute wait (at a bar with 8 people sitting at it) and upon service as soon as I had a beer poured I was handed my check. Ordinarily this isn't that kind of bar. No one else was handed a tab after their drink. I didn't want to believe this was because I am a African American man. Upon my second visit and the same treatment, a man who I sat three stools down from looked at me and said "I can't even finish my drink in peace" slammed down a $5 bill and stormed out. Two women sitting to the left of me were staring at me nervously talking about smoking. They got up to go outside and smoke, the door was past me. One woman said to the other "let's go the long way I don't want to walk past him" . Needless to say they walked around the bar to go out the back door. You be the judge of my experience.
