Started out everyone was friendly. I tried to buy a section of 1 1/2 inch pipe. The piece there was about 4-5 feet long. I inquired and they said they sold it by the foot. I needed 2 feet. They called someone in the back and said meet him outside he will cut it from a new pipe. 15 minutes of waiting outside, no pipe. I found the kid in the back and he told me he could not find a saw to cut it that’s why it was taking so long. I went inside and asked for help. The woman was snide and told me he was coming. I told them he was struggling and needed help. The older gentleman said he would help him after he was done at register. After another 5 minutes of waiting, I asked for a refund and I would go elsewhere. The lady was rude and I got mad and said that they were incompetent to get what I need so I want my money and I will go to Lowe’s and have my pipe in seconds, bot 20 minutes after I paid for it. She told me to not bother coming into the store again. They could give there stuff away for free and I would not go there again. There are so many places that sell what they sell with much better...

Now that it's transformed into an ACE service has been streamlined and the staff is much more accommodating now that the store has been redesigned. I can now dispense with my usual method of asking everyone in sight - in the vague hope that Someone Actually Knows what I am looking for, and where (precisely) it is. In fact, now I can just wander around with a confused and/or focused expression and will be asked by several associates if I require any assistance. The building itself is fairly old and has multiple rooms on different levels and finding a Sherpa (a guide) is essential as the location of stock is vastly different from its original configuration. Drove from Mass down here due to fact they had what I wanted in stock. This place is set up very odd, situated off road near RT 146, the parking is definitely a strange set up, small top parking lot, then parking space littering a very narrow hill. The store itself is tucked along the side of the hill but they also have a separate nursery/garden center farther down the hill.

The store itself is very tight inside, aisles very narrow and stuff crammed on shelves. The front counter area is also very tight, two registers, not much room to get by. The good thing about Ace, they have a lot of stuff in stock and its better than the big box stores due to convenience and you can find things easily.
