Firehouse Pizza Shop II — Restaurant in North Smithfield

Spent a bit of time up in North Smithfield last night, heard good things about this place, so we gave it a shot. Picked up the pizza, already suspected something very wrong. The bottom of the box was so soggy I could've stuck my finger through it without trying. Took the pizza home, threw it on a plate, took a bite. The pizza was mush, there were way too many toppings on it, too much cheese, way too many green peppers on it, etc. Tasted like it was barely even cooked. Easily one of the worst pizzas I have ever eaten. No restaurant has ever given me the drive to make a review on the food than this "pizza" place before. If you want to have a nice pizza on a Saturday night I'd suggest you running up to a gas station and buying a frozen pizza, instead of buying a pizza here. This used to be a great local place to grab dinner or lunch for you family. Always hot and ready when you get there with a friendly atmosphere. if you sat down for lunch or got it to go. Now… could be good, but probably over cooked, small portions, never the same price, owner is a grumpy old man that has an attitude. Maybe it’s the covid syndrome. Called in my order 30 min ahead, when I arrived to pick it up, they had lost my ticket and hadnt started my order. I was told "oh, yea that's been happening a lot." So I re-placed my order, they didnt expedite that order but just put it at the end of all the other current orders. So I waited another 40 min.

Food was fair, seems like they just dump a wad of canned mushrooms on top of your pizza. Crust isnt great. Overall pricing is...
