Dollar General — Local services in North Township

April 9, 2025 5:15 PM. We walked into the store to find snacks and was harassed and disrespected by the store manager. My friends and I were banned for looking around and not getting anything (we thought the prices were out of our ball park). The audacity the lady had to be hostile and aggressive will never shop here again. I’m alright with being disrespectful, I usually shrug it off, but harassing and being negative toward my friends I won’t forgive. Banned or not, this was the worst customer service experience I’ve experienced in my lifetime. The cashier was the only person that was nice towards us, she deserves a promotion or raise. Walked in the store today to get last minute school supplies, just for the employee to tell me that I had to put my 10 year old in a shopping cart because "there are no kids allowed in the store under the age of 18, especially durring school hours" ... my son does not start school until a later date, hes with a parent, walking next to me, calmly and all. Before walking into the store the cashier asked if we would purchase anything (when they shouldn’t be asking) people can go into retail stores to see if prices are convenient to them.
