La Central Bakery — Restaurant in North Township

This place is ridiculous first off they don’t except any debit cards or any type of cards, cash only... they need to modernize and upgrade already it’s a big inconvenience coming here for that matter. Also I called to make sure if I could get my bread put in a box because I will be purchasing a large amount for a funeral, the young lady I spoke to said yes when I got there I got all the bread, The young lady took all the bread to the back and boxed it when she came upfront it was in an old raggedy used egg carton box very unappealing I asked if I could get it in a regular white box but young lady was hesitant, she said that she had to go ask the owner she came back up front and said that the owner said no.. so there is no way I was going to take that bread in a scratched up used egg carton box so I decided not to purchase the bread. I came here for 3kings day to purchase a rosca and got the biggest rosca there to my surprise it was also in a big. SMH!! I searched where I can buy 3 leches cake, I went there and walked right out the first time. It just looked to dirty inside. I tried 3 leches cakes near me, they were all to nasty to describe. So I decided to try this place eventhough it looked sketchy. Can't lie, I was a little scared. Then I seen BIG SIGN " CASH ONLY". Walk back out, I sat in my truck wondering if I should go to an ATM and come back. So I decided to be brave, I was already there. Parked, there was a beggar outside this place. I felt bad, he asked for money. I told him I needed to buy my cake first. Lol There was a long line to check out. Bought my cake, it started raining so hard. I gave homeless man a ten and ran to my truck. Got home exited to try this 3 leches cake. The disappointment, this bakery has good reviews.
