Janel is very rude. I was here on Saturday and went to ask her a question and she would not stop to assist me nor look up but I just assumed she was very busy. On today I brought my children to an event here and she told my daughter to get out of the corn pit due to not having a wrist band but the event included the corn pit. I just feel that instead telling my child to get out maybe speak to the parent. I was sitting right there. But what did it for me was the fact that she said “ It’s just $5, go pay for a $5 wrist band and they can stay or you need to leave now!” I’m aware of the price, I bring my 2yr old all the time. And when I asked for her name she said “It’s Janel in case you needed to let someone know” with a rude look on her face! I always come to this Market because of the petting zoo simply. However, this experience has left a bad taste in my mouth. There was an arrogance about how she spoke that made me feel uncomfortable and unwanted. When I say I frequent here, I have several years of memories, pictures and videos. Thank you Janel for not making this memory a good 1. And this my friends 1st time with me and she told me no thank you for coming back with our children who were still in school and could not attend...

So I noticed the green beans were not very fresh, I tell them I am canning and request fresh. After calling I am asked how much so I tell them 15 lbs and also 4 dozen ears of corn. My information was written down and I was informed they were getting fresh tomorrow so I returned the next day. They grab the green beans and weigh up what I need for canning and young man asked if he could grab my corn. Everything was going good, till I got home. I brought everything in and processed the green beans first then start to shuck the corn only to find it mostly rotten. I pulled 5 ears out of 48 and threw the other 43 in the garbage. The 5 ears I kept turned out to be garbage too. Bottom line is select your own vegetables, especially corn. I didn't attempt to return the bad produce. Lesson learned. Green beans turned out great. Did a double batch of pints and single batch of quarts. Not sure what happened to the corn, maybe I was given feed corn ? Otherwise usually ok for fresh vegetables but I prefer to now drive to Big Johns where I know I will get the...

I got a bushel of peaches in August from here this year to put in my freezer. When you call to ask if they have any they refuse to answer your questions. They act like you are bothering them. I just ordered 3 bushels of Fuji apples to can into applesauce. My dad went to pick them up on Friday, because I can’t drive right now due to seizures, and they only had 2 1/2 bushels. They told my dad that they will not have any till next week and will call me to let me know. I just called them on Wednesday, to see if they have them and they said they don’t have any right now and we have to go to get a refund. This farm used to be very good when I was a kid but not anymore. If they weren’t so close to my house I’d just go to Michigan for peaches and apples. I can’t decide if I ever want to go back to...

One of my top places to take the kids is Scheeringa Farms & Produce. I stop here atleast 4 times out the year! Beautiful flowers, fresh produce & pet & feed! This year they had a cute set up & my 2 year old played her heart out! We cant wait til the weather breaks so we can re visit! 🫶🏽 The matcha was also 10/10, deff worth the price 😋. #Indiana #Family #FYP #Explore #pumpkin
