Lakeshore Quest Escape Room — Local services in Norton Shores

This is my favorite escape room of the 20+ I've done. The difficulty was just right for the puzzles, and our kids had a great time, too. We had a group of four - I would recommend no more than 6 in this room. We escaped at about 32 minutes in.

Each puzzle was very well designed. These puzzles have just enough clues to get you going. Nothing is right in your face - there is a good spectrum of "Oh, that's easy" to "Of course! This is the answer!" There was not a single "How the heck would we figure that out?" or any artificial difficulty.

The puzzles are intuitive as well. Using basic observation, you can get things moving. There's no weird leaps of logic needed - it all makes sense.

It was a great experience and a nice way to spend an AC-powered day. The crew also makes sure the whole room is wiped down and sanitized between solvers - a nice addition.

I hope this group continues to make rooms. I think they have some great talent...

A little unassuming from the outside, but this place is great! My husband and our two kids, 9 & 11, had never done an escape room before and we did the “That 70s Room” today. The game master who helped us was very friendly and gave very clear directions. We were shown a short instructional video and got to try a couple test puzzles before we started, which was great. We were a little nervous that we wouldn’t be able to solve all the puzzles in time, but luckily you get 3 clues from the game master, which we used and were glad to have when we got stuck, and we finished in time. Extremely accommodating. The owner was kind to us. He helped get is thru the room. Explained things well. The rooms were clean and the game was well built. He ran 2 rooms at once and even offered to do back to back games. He told me larger groups r played alittle different....so if ya want a big challange go with a smaller group. However We were very challenged even with a large group. Not one person in our large group had anything bad to say. They all had a great time and there was 25 people within all 3 games. Check it out!
