El Regio Authentic Mexican food — Restaurant in Norton Shores

I recently stopped in to buy some lunch. I was very excited to try this place as their food looked very authentic. The place is simple yet cute in design and clean. The woman who took my order was bilingual and very friendly. Our food was cooked to order promptly taking less than 10 minutes. The tacos and quesadilla tasted great, the rice was fresh and good, they put a little chili powder in the refried beans which my son liked, but I didn't care for. I would have given this restaurant 5 stars but there were 2 things I did not like. First, the portions are too small, the amount of beans and rice was only 1 scoop in a small to go box. The tacos were also on the small side and the quesadilla was 1/2 the size I expected. Second, the prices are too high for a simple to go restaurant. The prices are close to what I would pay at Los Amigos without being able to sit and eat on a dinner plate with silverware and enjoy an alcoholic beverage. I'd like to return again but probably won't because unfortunately, because it's cost...

I stumbled upon this gem yesterday morning as I was craving Mexican breakfast tacos which are non existent in this area but not at this place. EVERYTHING was so delicious and I can't wait to go back.

The green and red sauces weren't spicy but they were definitely unique and delicious. I don't know if they have two different green sauces but one of them was SUPER delicious. The other green had no taste so when I go back I'll ask.

The customer service was awesome as well and Sydra was such a nice and talkative lady. It was lovely meeting her. LOVED the music they were playing as well. It's a nice little...

You have choices in life... at 8am you can either buy breakfast from some fast food factory breakfast (still tasty but not home/hand made).. . OR you can spend less and have FRESH made, PERFECTLY cooked Carne Asada Tacos. Hand made in less than 10 mins if you DIDN'T order ahead. My favorite BFast on a whim, just got fuel at Shell by this place on my way to work, saw they were open and a few mins later, enjoyed a delicious home made breakfast.
