Very rude. Leaves customers guitars on the ground that are there for repairs and gets mad when you pick them up thinking there for sail like a normal human being would. Being a young musician from the area this man is by far the rudest person i met in Norwalk. If this is what it means to be a successful musician I want no part. Someone one who judges you before they meet you, makes you feel unwelcome, Judging your budget based on your looks, doesn't take care of the store at all (been going once in a blue moon for a decade and its always been trashed), is not someone i want to be. I've given this store so many chances to be at least a little better but the same store that made me nearly cry as a kid going in is still the same thing today. Even from a business perspective the prices are way to high and there's absolutely no budging the price either. Not being a person that makes post about this isnt very fun for me. Being someone who is trying to make a community of musicians that can stand together and just have fun Mossmans music has the least of those characteristics. Hearing countless stories of kids going in there to just be disappointed, or friends getting treated like they have no money, I feel like its time to say something. From just wanting a hello when i walk into the door, too having a place to buy gear, I really wish things were different. After loosing Castle music, (which was such a great positive space for musicians) I've really lost hope for a music to be great in Norwalk. Musicians Alley in Sandusky is another great store where you can go and try out some really killer instruments and just learn a lot from the staffs cools stories. With this I wish noi hate on anyone but I wish consideration, consider all the kids that music can help, consider the impact of playing that special guitar for the fist time, Consider people have things going on and going to the music shop could be there escape, consider Norwalk. Thanks for taking the time for reading...
Read moreFirst off hardly anything had a price, when I inquired about pricing the gentleman told me I just help out here and do not know the prices. I did get him to make a phone call about a very used guitar case and a very used Ibanez Gio guitar that was missing parts and laying on the floor. $ 150.00 for the set..Nope. I had just bought a Brand New one for $168. I asked what about the case, I was willing to give $20..it goes with the guitar he said, even though they were in 2 completely different parts of the store. The store was dirty, items laying in the floor. I will never go back and I will tell everyone I know also. I had cash In my pocket to spend, I guess they did not want. His family visiting him in the store and the kids beating on everything was...
Read moreWe went to ask about speakers and the man was rude, he must have thought that we couldn't afford anything in the store! He also kept dissuading us on purchasing said speakers by using excuses. All we wanted was speakers for our home. He said they wouldn't look good in a typical home. We said we wanted loud, high quality ones. He said that we would disturb our neighbors. We live in the country with one house a good half mile away. Overall he was a very cold, harsh man with little people skills. Even though I spent a good 10 minutes there I never want to go...
