Walgreens — Local services in Norwalk

My wife's Dr. called in a prescription for a controlled substance on Friday afternoon. She is bedridden and needs dosage every 6 hours for pain relief. I called. " Meds would not be available until Monday. No problem, I expected that. Normal del. time 04:00 Pm. I arrived at 06:00 PM, 08-12-24 . Assistant told me " Drug is not available today " " We, used up the store quota and have to wait to fill a 4 day old prescription ! It cannot be filled until Tuesday afternoon , after 04:00PM. 3 a. I suggested transferring to another store. " Cannot do that." 3 b. I asked " Why didn't you call the Dr. and tell them, Cannot fill as requested." Told me " Not their responsibility." 3 c. I asked why they didn't call me explain what the issue The Pharmacist would know the meds were for pain relief. I asked to speak directly to the Pharmacist, She was standing close by. She would not speak to me directly. First time with any complaints about this store. Terrible customer service. If it was one of their family members, I am sure SOME phone calls would...

The store itself is fine I guess, I never go in. But the pharmacy here is a JOKE! I thought since Walgreens was the biggest pharmacy name out there, I would never have any problems...HAHA! They have given me SEVERAL problems. Let me explain. I take medications for severe depression, severe anxiety, PTSD and birth control. They are always running out of my antidepressants, now they're giving me some kind of claim issue that wasn't my doing, therefore it's been a week, AGAIN, that I haven't had my antidepressants and it's hitting me hard. Just got a new job and was JUST starting for the first time to feel happy and positive and now I'm CRASHING DOWN FAST. That is a medication you do NOT mess with and make sure you ALWAYS have. This has happened several times. I'm switching pharmacies and never looking back. 0 stars, do not recommend this pharmacy. I'm super disappointed. Never had trouble at other Walgreens. Went in to drop off a Fedex Package and Tracey would not let me , even though it says they except fedex prepaid packages and customers are allowed to drop off packages and pick up them , but she said NO you can not drop off your package at this location , the supervisor on 8-4-2018 around 10 am was no help either and would not let me drop off a prepaid fedex package , i have reported both employees to Fedex and also Corporate Walgreen's and i will no longer be a customer of Walgreen's and i will let everyone i know the way i was treated unbelievable how i was treated , still can not understand why they were so...
