We have just completed a 3 week trip in America, and Shane's Day tour of Oahu was our favourite day from the entire trip.

Prior to our trip I emailed Shane to explain our trip was a secret that our Family didn't know about, he was fantastic with the entire secret and booked everything separately, separate invoices and separate itineraries to keep the secret. We worked back and forward with Shane for a few months and customized a tour to what we wanted to see (and it was absolutely perfect). Shane is very prompt and professional in replying to emails and it was such a breeze to organize our tour. At the last minute my partner had to return home and was not able to do the tour with us, I emailed Shane and explained the situation and he gave us a refund for my partners spot no questions asked. It made our unfortunate situation a little more pleasant.

Shane picked us up from our hotel at 10am on the dot as promised. He gave us a quick run down of the day and we were off. We saw everything that we had asked to see and some more. Shane supplies lunch, drinks and snacks. Lunch was absolutely incredible Chef Dave does an amazing job on lunch.

My favourite part of the day was stand up paddleboarding at sunset, it was the perfect end to a perfect day. Shane takes you snorkeling to such a beautiful place and we were lucky enough to have near perfect visibility and so lucky to have the turtles swimming less than a metre away. Me and my girlfriend went on a snorkeling tour with Shane and after all the positive reviews I was obviously waiting for a good tour but a bit skeptical since when one observes wild life you can never really be sure how's it gonna go or what you're gonna see. Let me tell you, we saw plenty and shane was so knowledgeable of the area that I hardly had to put my head out of the water. I just followed Shane's fins and enjoyed the beautiful turtles and company. He was always sensible and aware to what was happening with us but without really interfering if it wasn't necessary. I really appreciated that. He really felt how far he could "push us" or not and he catered to that perfectly. The truth is that half way through the tour I didn't even feel I was having one. It felt I was snorkeling with a buddy that lives in Hawaii and I was just visiting. I think that is the best testament to how good it was. I have nothing to compare it too, but I can tell you it was one of the highlights of my trip to this amazing pacific islands. Do not hesitate a second, go ahead...

My husband and I booked a tour with Shane whilst staying in Waikiki. We looked at various other tours including larger group tours that were slightly cheaper, however they are very restrictive as to what you see, how long you are there etc. Shane was great, he asked us what we liked and what we wanted to see and tailored the whole day to meet our needs. Not only did we see a huge amount of the island, Shane was informative and really went above and beyond to make sure we hit a variety of great spots at great times. The weather was cloudy and rainy with some sunshine but Shane kept an eye out on the weather and adjusted the plan where necessary to get the best out of our day. It was a highlight of our trip.
